BROKEN TOY (St. Africa)
Broken Toy is James Copeland, from Cape Town, South Africa. He produces psytrance with a diverse style and a wide variety of moods for the dance floor - from full-on to electro-funk, from deep and dreamy to tribal techno.
Musical influences are too many to mention - anything with groove and attitude, ranging from metal to electro-pop and gangster rap / hip hop. Previous musical experiences include being a guitarist and bass player in various metal bands during his angry teenage years, although this phase quickly gave way to a voracious appetite for electronic music, kick drums, and thundering big basslines! Psytrance was the natural choice of dance music for its power and creative flexibility.
He was also a member of the more full-on project Damage, and has been successfully making psytrance since 2001. As Damage he was one of the pioneers of the Cape Town hard psytrance scene producing alongside other artists from Time code records like Shift, Artifakt , and Phyx .
Since 2004 he’s signed to Alchemy Records and his future album release is on the way.
His motto: Keep the dance floor rocking and the party-people entertained.

Im so anxious to hear Broken Toy again!
His latest live here in Portugal was total mayhem on the danceground! Damn this za's know how to make good soundS!
Not really looking forward to hear para anormal attack since they dont surprise me anymore...lets see if they can change my opinion!
