Ok, i must admit i rarely am impressed with fx plugins, not they arent good, i simply use to think they can all be usable if in right handed...
well yesterday i was checking this reverb, and i was very, very impressed with it...
for its smoothness, transparency and how it feels overal...
i had listened other good reverbs like Oxford Native, ValhallaRoom or even ArtsAcousticsReverb, thouse use to be in the best of the plugins...
but then, i think this is on a superior level, wich i cant really explain...
per example i wasnt even using a great sounding plugin, or using other words, i was using a good plugin that is free and is known to have a good character: synth1
and i was using a drone like pad, with had a fair decay and some attack artifacts that were modeled on the purpose, and my purpose was to check how it would the reverb increase thouse tine details of the sound, how would the plugin give amplitude to it...
and man... foking amazing, the smoothness in how it turned the sound BIG and sweet at same time, it made synth1 sound alive... every touch on the keyboad had that unique tone, the artifacts on the atack were magical, like metalic clicks that were super detailed, like you could even ear them move slightly on the spectrum...
and low´s, were absolutly amazing... present without saturate anything, because this is in where most reverbs fall, the problem about most reverbs its not the effect it self, its how the effect destroys the quality of the source, and in this case the fx enlight the source, turns the source sound better and at same time do whats its meant...
Amazing... the price its on 157€ and i still think that plugins shouldn't cost more than 50 or 70, but, this is something else, i strongly recomend people to download the demo and mess out with it...
This was my go to reverb back in time I was producing.
BReverb sounds something lush and big as the IK Classic Reverb. But better cpu performance, and all algos in one very friendly interface.
I must say I´ve never used the Valhalla´s ones.

well, the 2 version is much better than the first one, if you do enjoyed the first, than you should try this, because its much more smother and transparent compared to previous release...
i think its also more optimized as its very on cpu as well
phoenix is great for clean and place stuff into space, lx480 as fx for larger than life flatering sound, these 2 could cover all my reverb needs. valhalla no brainer price and lexicon pcm also good , x-verb rox too, breverb i used it at a friend and enjoyed it , ni ones are not bad too. so many good ones..
when it was posted blind on a forum no one could spot the point between the real deal and the plug if i remember..100% wet
Honestly I think all top software reverbs are of great quality, the algo's maybe different but the overall quality is top notch these days.
personally I like Valhalla because theya re more simpler to use.
