i was wondering if anyone could help me with getting this type of sound that is used in breaks. now i've got to try and explain wot i mean... here goes... anyone know that kinda swooping sound that is commonly used on a break and then goes straight into the next bar say. i'm not really sure if its the bass or kick that does it? Hope that made sense cheers people! |

You might mean taking pink noise, and automating a sweep of a band pass filter over it which sounds like air whooshing.
Or you might mean a reversed kick which meets up with the next kick in the next bar.
Or you might mean a reversed Crash Cymbal or snare.
Or a reversed anything else really. |

Yeah i think it must be a reversed kick. how wud i go about that. do i need to bounce the Kick to audio first? |

Yes, or if you're using Battery there is a reverse button. |
