What about the poor innocent potatoes and carrots, callously uprooted by cruel, greedy vegetarians, sliced into bits and arranged on plates?
It really amazes me how some people are so caught up in their comfortable sheltered middle class lives that they just dont have any concept of how the real world works and the basic prinicpal that life sustains itself on other life.
Do you people also think the Native Americans were evil and cruel for the deer and bison they killed to feed and clothe themselves??
Being against commercial slughter I can understand, but this is about as natural as it gets. The kid risked his life and chased his dinner for three hours!!!'
Come off your high horse people!

its sarcasm?......i hope so....!
there is huge difference between native indians....and modern hunters!
this hunters doing this for fun.....not for food, clothes...etc!......and indians knows how to live harmonic with the nature
this animal huntings breaking the food chain!
when you eating cow meat.....you are not breaking the food chain......and its not
dangerous for them to be exterminated!

Actually no, I am not being sarcastic.
Modern hunters do not all "do it for fun" and they do feed their families with it. This pig got made into sausages.
I know families in the countryside who are very poor, but they are able to eat well because they go hunting, kill a deer (which we have plenty of around here), they put it in a freezer and the family does not have to buy meat for a whole year.
Furthermore, because there are so many deer and they have no natural predators around here, it maintains, rather than breaks to food chain to have regulated hunting (there is a bag limit etc). You should be quiet about this Alias because its clear that you dont know anything about how things work around here. You would be better off if you would stick to something you know about!!
And PS once the Indians got guns, they used them... it isnt as if they hunted with spears and arrows to be fair to the animals! You are a sucker for the "noble savage" myth. Indians are just like everyone else.. they like food and fun times!
I never cease to be amazed how people here confuse the sentimentality that comes from their overprotected urban lives with enlightenment and sensitivity.

i didnt talked specifically about usa countryside... i talked about ....those hunters that hunting for fun!

im living in russia.....and i tell you that the hunters here hunting for pure fun......most of them!
huge russian areas without animals....bears, rare siberean white tiger(exterminated).....and other animals!
i know that in usa there is a lot special areas for animals....i know that!
i have limits with my english!
so dont talk not nice about me!

OK OK Its true I just made an assumption about where you are, and we all know what assumtions do..
Anyway I thought you were talking about this kid. I agree that hunting just for the idot excitement of killing, or just to use a small part of it, or to hunt an endangered species for gross profit is wrong.
Anyway, sorry about the misunderstanding!

Awww man I'm really disappointed that the thing wasnt wild. I dont really care that it was a game preserve though (if anything this is probably better enviromentally speaking). Still a big fuckin hog and a skilled fuckin kid tho..
