So far Ive checked out Hecate, Bong Ra, Davros, I like all three but Hecate is my favorite for the deep atmospherics and tasteful use of instrumentation along with the high speed breakbeat madness.
Any recommendations? Anyone else like this style of music?

I'd say it's tangental to breakcore, but I can't stop myself from strongly recommending Wisp-"honor beats", the new Wisp ep "Katabatic" is also quite nice, although perhaps a little more chill.

Cool, I will check that out
What Im really looking for is stuff that has breakcore elements and more spacey ambient elements.
Pure hardcore breaks bore me after a while.

hey, checkout anything from Blaerg. Its amazing breakcore music combined with mostly anything you can imagine and on top of it I guess he comes from the states as well:))

And then of course Venetian Snares, Duran Duran Duran, Enduser, Binray ! and many others...

but my personal vote goes to Blaerg.

cheers

Venetian Snares' "Rossz Csillag Alatt Született" is a masterpiece in my opinion           new Hadal Drop album on the way

Just checked out Honor Beats, some sick stuff to be sure!!!! Much different vibe from Hecate's music, more like weird drum n bass, but I like it a lot, at least at the first listen.

Blaerg is crazy shit. I remember a friend of mine used to have Profane Esoterics as his ringtone and every phone call was like this mad fuck screaming 'AAAAAAAA'.

Bong-RA is also violent. Though you should check out some Xanopticon and Venetian Snares for true breakcore.

wisp is nice, as is vsnares and many of the others mentioned in this thread.

some of my personal faves that have been left out: doormouse, otto von schirach, curtis chip, emotional joystick, istari lasterfehrer (i probably spelled that wrong), /dev/null, aaron spectre, kid606 (borderline)

you may also enjoy scorn (aka mick harris of napalm death), richard devine, vex'd, and the bug - none of them are breakcore per se but its all nice experimental stuff that explores some of the interesting spaces at the edges of the breakcore chaos.

ps - breakcore gives me wood!

Nice thread.

Alec empire - The Destroyer is largely considered to be the pioneering breakcore record.

I'd also recommend, Venetian Snares - Printf <shiver in eternal darkness>. Though not nearly as fast as some of his later work, its prolly the darkest breakcore cd i own.

If your looking for something really fast, hard and NASTY, passenger of shit should be right up your alley.

And if you suffer from ADD, phthalocyanine should do the trick. No one said you didnt is his masterpiece.

Also look up eight frozen modules and abelcain.

Happy P2P'ing

DRUMCORPSSSSSSSSSS (aaron spectre side project), especially the tune forgive and forget. otherwise aaron spectre has some nicer more atmospheric stuff.

breakcore is pure genious, does the short attention span a world of good haha. can't wait for bangface festival, gonna be WILDDDD

and also get some sabrepulse in your life, some chiptune breakcore lovelyness

venetian snares is pure genius and is untouchable in this genre. one of my favorite producers (ever).

all the usual suspects have been named.

i can add Mendelayev to the list. highly recommended.

if you want something less harsh and more idm-ish (closer to wisp), Flashbulb is really great. he's all over the place musically and it's all quality stuff.
