Hello folks,
i was wondering, what are the brazilian labels working on releasing psy trance?
I know about Wajanga. Are they doing anything new these days?
And i also know about Overlap, just established. What are the plans here Seth and Lipe?
And anyone else out there?
:-)

Wajanga is working on Wrecked Machines album and on a 2nd compilation...

Over Lap? Well.... I have no idea about their plans... what Seth said is "We are intended to release Avantgarde trippy progressive, prog. and trippy Full On and techy trance."

And the good old time Tsantsa Records that released 2 compilations and stopped for life...(?)

Do you think we need more then this? I mean, do you think that it´s possible to have more labels in Brazil? Wich market you think that would be nice to work with? Only inside Brazil or worldwide? Brazilian musicians only or foreigners as well? On a mp3 world, it´s quite hard to run a label, huh?

Indeed, it sure must be really hard.
But i think the more labels we have the better. It sure would help educating ppl on buying original stuff instead of the endless trading going on today, don't u agree?
I also believe working with foreigners would be a plus...because i don't think we have that many ppl with enough sound mixing and mastering knowledge, and our producers have to improve A LOT.
Anyway, wanna hear more thoughts on this.

Oh, and I forgot one info...

DJ Feio is compiling a cd that will be out on Trama... it will probably be the XXXPerience vol. II (the 1st one was compiled and mixed by DJ Rica)

and AFAIK there will be tracks from Vibra, Altom, GMS, GBU, Logic Bomb, Wrecked Machines and few other gems... well, it will surely be a KILLER.... Feio have a very good taste and it will be a dj friendly cd: unmixed! Sounds great, huh?

That for sure is one hell of news for the brazilian trance scene.
I could only wish Feio compiled a progressive cd, since i know he likes the style...but i guess that's asking too much ;-)

I heard about this Feio's compilation on Trama a long time ago almost a year ago, and it was never released so I tought it wasn't gonna happen anymore . Good to know it still in the works, it'll surely be a killer with those artists names behind.

Well Hikari, AFAIK some of the wajanga cds were taken to japan by MACK, one of the owners of the label, who always djs over there. I don't know if u could find them...:-)
This new release by Trama is going to be sold only in Brazil AFAIK. When it comes out, u will probably see reviews here. If it pleases u, try contacting some of the brazilian ppl in the forum...
BOOM!
