Brazilian and Foreign partners needed to organize a big eletronic music festival in Ouro Preto - MG

There´s a plan to make a big eletronic music festival in Ouro Preto - MG in july, in our winter festival. To make this real, I need some contacts and also to know if is there any Dj (brazilians or foreigners) or producer who would like to play/work in this project.
We are planing a 4 days festival, with music from 20h to 6h. We also need people who works with psychedelic deco, visual arts (videos, paintings and draws) an theather.
The doors are opened to amateurs djs, 'cause we're planing a contest to help the new artists. Prize in money/sound equipment.
we also want to make a night only for female dj's.
Please, if there's someone interested, answer this message as soon as possible, 'cause there's some hurry to start making contacts.

I wanna help, the first help I want to give u is saying there's too few hours of music... pp complain if it stops 2hr/day hehehe
The second one is that I don't know if this is the best way to do this... Maybe u should pm some djs from ur area, I guess Minas... There r quite a few that are members here... Then u might try to find out wich international artists will be around when the time is due... this should avoid some expenses... If u wanna make a point and bring top djs from all over, u can find a lot of them around here... pm them, they should give u booking infos...
And don't forget that festivals are more than music, u've got to think camping area, security, drinking water access, dealing with waste, local authorities, shadow and showers on the dance floor, comfortable chill area, food quality and options, ecological impact and vibe (there are others, many, many others - Xenomorph hehehe)
If u're going to do it, do it right

Thanx for all your answers, specially Drope's one... good advices are always wellcome.
in the beggining of february i'll send the project to the interested ones to keep you in touch...
and i want to say that we also need other things than music in this festival: all kinds of expression are wellcome, we wanna make o multi-midia experience here. Video artists, theather companies and everything else will have their space...
I keep waiting for replies!

Details will be very welcomed, specially on Theater Hall infrastructure, technical issues and things like that, mainly for adaptation purposes. |

im a producer and dj too
in april i will produce one festival in serra do cipo MG ...............................Im was produce the all PSICOTRANCE club parties, PSICOTRANCE open air parties, FREAK NATION party, EARTH DANCE FESTIVAL 2001/2002/2003 , the reveillon 2003/2004 in south bahia, itamonte festival 1999/2000/2001, MUP privet editions....and many others parties

first I would like to excuse me for being away for so long, but i'm having problems with internet access.
but the negotiations are going on and this plan of a festival is getting toghether with another cultural iniciative. So, maybe we'll b able to make a psy art forum in a art forum that will happen here in Ouro Preto in July... the perspectives r the best, as we can have some help from the federal goverment and lots of big promoters and strong cultural people....
i'm writing the new proposition now, with the view to enlarge the oportunities...I'll keep in touch...
