detox. you always like this. the best player of the tournament is the greek guy auahuhuahua its just of the tournament wake up. so now tell me what was the best player of the world....
about defensive of portugal. to your information. one central defense of portugal is now on real madrid. the team of the stars. not pepsi stars but really smart players that play smart football. we just suffer games because we are always in attack trying to score goals not like greece.if we used the same tactic of greece you would never score a goal ahahahahhaha. wake up detox. |

Number 2 - Our defence is awfull , so tell me why Real madrid (the best team of the world again) is making an huge effort to buy ricardo carvalho but Pinto da costa oporto´s president said he is inegociable at any cost ...(can u understand this??) Jorge andrade plays at coruna the quarter finalist of champions league, not to mention miguel and paulo ferreira that is going for chelsea....yeah we really hv a bad defence...!!!
Number 3 England was pressing?? or was shooting balls to the other side of the camp? which is their kind of game...and about the penalty everyone saw the pictures of the fault against the keeper ,if u want i can send them to u for u to check with own eyes...in here we all had a repetition...´Maybe couldnt make it to greece..too far.... |

Hey Greeks, Congratulations! I personally think it doesnt matter whether the game is offensive or defense, and whether it is good to watch or not (besides, what is better to watch than the superheroes of some teams Greece played with getting totally frustrated and almost on their knees with sorrow, with some even crying like babies). If you are a striker it is ur job to score no matter what, and if u cant do that, then sorry boss, it is time to accept defeat. And besides, it is not that the Greeks didn't score...they scored in each game.
And man, the way you brought down the Czech's....too amazing! They knew what ur game was like and still, they couldnt do anything but fall down tired at the end of 90 minutes. In the extra time, you were like tigers our for a kill, while the Czech were like rundown impala's, ready to be devoured.
If anyone says the Greece were not good to watch, I disagree too. MOst of the times they attacked, they produced something, unlike some teams which kept trying, and trying, and well, just trying...haha. Ur offense was not like the mad rush of an angry rhinocerous (which has poor vision and ends up hitting trees), but that of a prowling cheetah - brief, and precise.
In the end, a TEAM (with an excellent coach) won, rather than a couple of superheroes, and if that isnt a victory for football, then I dont know what is!
Besides, next time, each game, right from the start of the championship will be closely watched (instead of just from semis or quaters), and thats a HUGE victory for the sport too.

I am talking about our people mate, our culture. I live abroad and spread our vibe in the best possible way, not complain like a bad looser on internet forums.
Real Madrid is the best team in the world? Can you remind what world or europian cup they won this year? Can you guys please talk facts and not fiction?
Portugal would have won the tournament if they payed like Greece? Man...Scolari would have loved to see his team play like that, but they can't because everyone was too busy thinking that they have to score them selves and don't play for the common good of the team.
PORTUGAL IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO PLAY GREECE'S DEFENSIVE GAME. PERIOD.
Zagorakis was voted as the best player of the tournament because he was the best leader on the pitch. Best player of the tournament is not the one who scores the most goals...there is a different award for them players.
You guys are so bitter and do nothing but diss a new team that is made up of average to good players, but as a collective they managed to beat star players that did not play well as a team...you are so bitter you can't even come to terms with reality...

You don't have much of a culture left as it was in Ancient time. The Turks took it all away and believe me there's a long way to go before you will ever have a similar culture your ancient greek forefathers had You are actually more like the Turks than you'll ever want to admit
But when that is said I like Greeece and the Greek Malakas But you cant really say that Greece = Greek Culture as it was in Ancient greece. It's long gone. But you do know how to fight and be hotheaded...lol

you haveno idea how well you have to play to have a great defense, what an excellent fitness you need and how good coordination and relationship is needed between the players.... we are a TEAM!
if you think football is only Real and Brazil then go ahead and do.. you are the ignorant babies who still yell for the most tallented players who just happened to get together because of the money...
some of us still have ideals and some of us appreciate spirit in sports and not just awesome egoistic figures in the court..
i love you greek team! you gave me the best summer of my life! i will never forget any moment! even if it will be after 50 years that i will see such success again....
PS. we have the 2 most offensive backs, Seitaridis who won the penalty with Portugal and Fissas, and our sweeper, Dellas, scored.. this doesn't say a lot but certainly we are not bad and offense..

Isn´t Real Madrid known has bets team in world? why r tehy so called "galactics" ???
They didn´t did much this year for two reasons.
1 they had only 11 players, no substitutes, defence was poor.
2 there were teams such as FC porto and monaco that played an new football that made all europe fall in love.
But Real Madrid sure is the team that has more champion league awards (8 if not in error) and most part of spanish championships.And not talkinb about intercontinental ones...but like u say u dont take that in consideration....
And that u said about the deffence scored.....we only can realise the type of tgame u guys hv, which is only try to score in stoped balls such has faults and freekicks corners....that kind of football is germany football ,ugly football 90 minutes not letting other team play....
But like u say U WIN and i salute u guys ...no more discussion here , i like discussing football in personal heheh more expressive way if u understand...heheheh latino´s way...really looking forward to a new meeting... |

Pmanco you claim that Real Madrid is the best team of the world so now i know how much football you know and see in your life....
And just for your info in Greece every weekend we have LIVE on national and private television the Greek,French,Spanish,Italian,German,English,Brazilian,Argentinian and Dutch league plus all the European competitions and the derbys from countries like Scotland and Portugal so please do not tell us how much football we see and how much football we know...
ANYWAY we are the Champions,noone can deny that.
History wrote GREECE 2004 EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP WINNERS and now i have to lock this topic since it is offtopic from the beggining and because the Euro 2004 is now over!
Good luck to our national team on the road to the world cup 2006 in Germany!
