Ok Pmaco we understand u. Tell me something how much money did u loose betting against Greece?
Next time be more careful.. We are glad to be borned Greeks and also dont be so sure that Greece will never be the European champion as u was before the beginning of this Euro bye bye

i call and all world call it. the ones that dont call just say that it wasnt lucky . it was the tactic. yes the anti-game tactic. a really bad tactic that all couch of all teams hate to play like that. but greece dont have chance with big teams so they need to defend all time to see if they win something. so here it is a lucky victory. and you detox i m really tired of listening your comments. you can be greek but dont be so arrogant...

I am reading all these forums while surfing the net and I can't really beleive that there are so many people that hate greeks for what they did.
I can't really understand why THEY cannot understand that such a small team and small country made a dream come true.
Are you following ? This is not just a winning of EURO 2004, THIS IS A DREAM.
And it is a "collective" dream...
People that hate us, have you ever lived a collective dream ?
Why can't you undertand and accept that we achieved this:
with no superstar soccers
with excellent defensive tactics (for university seminars)
with just PLAIN FAITH ?
Does it always have to be countries England Germany Italy Portugal etc ?
For anyone that believes that greece got lucky in their games winning 1-0 etc look at the folllowing and tell me if these teams got lucky as well...
go look at past games by the way and see how many end up 1-0 and then go say that is luck

Crotia vs Swiss 0-0 ?? was this LUCK please tell me??

congratulations to the greek team , i´m portuguese and no matter how you play the truth is that you are the euro champions , anyway i hope you enjoy the tournment and the country because that is important , soon we will have a chance to win something in your country in the olimpic games but what i really hope is that we as welcome as you were in our country , you deserve the championship for you straingth and will and of course your football and that is what it counts , BRAVO HELLAS and see you soon or in the olimli games or in BOOM!!! |

...Man stop watching so many Nike commercials, there is no director on the real pitch and no second/third/n takes for the camera.
Portugal knew Greece's game way before the final, when we beat them FAIR AND SQUARE on the premier game, even Scholari said that.
Don't be a sore looser mate, you got second place...a place that for a team like Portugal is VERY GOOD 
We were not lucky in the premier game, or the final. Greece had the best chance of scoring a second goal earlier in the game. You went close to our posts but did not present a real danger. You should have done better than that to call us lucky mate.
You have a great team and if you put two and two together, you'll see that keeping this team as it is today, will bring you more joys in the future and I truly wish you all the best for the future because I want mediterranean teams like Portugal to do well in any tournament.
You say that this kind of football is not entertaining? I say that watching the best players in the world smashing their faces that still have leftover make-up from the latest Pepsi commercial, on the blue-white wall that is called greek defence, VERY ENTERTAINING TO SAY THE LEAST!

How do you expect us to listen to your bitter looser talk and not the people that actually play and know the game for ages?
Greece not only are the Europian champions but like the gracefull people, true philosophers and pioneers of thought that we are, we TAUGHT THE REST OF EUROPE A GOOD LESSON.
Star players/divas that landed from the moon and only play for paychecks and sponsorships are no match to a collective of pure spirited heros that play for one thing and one thing only...THEIR COUNTRY'S COLOURS!
You see, we invented civilisation and gave the rest of the world the basis to advance into something more than wild tribes people that lived inside caves and up tall trees.
So in this tournament we decided we are going to give some more of that light to the rest of the world that had forgotten all about true values.
We gave you this lesson FREE OF CHARGE...well almost we decided that the cup will be enough of a reward.
GREECE ARE THE EURO 2004 CHAMPIONS AND THERE IS NOT ONE THING YOU OR ANY OTHER SORE LOOSER CAN SAY TO CHANGE THAT!

Well done....
But talk about making football dull. In only the first game did Greece score more than 1 goal. Every other game they only managed to score 1. Thats is so so so dull... but then you did have a german manager.
Now England v Portugal was one hell of a game!
But hey you did it, well done. |

Pmanco we all know that European Footballer awards have to do with advertisments and stuff like that.The good players show it on the pitch and not on commercials and magazines....
You dont like teams defending?Sorry but thats why you lost this tournament,your defence is awfull man....
Are you sure you watched the England versus Portugal game?If yes then you can remember who was pressing in the extra time and whose goal was canceled in the end as offensive foul
