Please dont be rude to our Portuguse friends.You have to understand that its difficult for them to realise that we have a superior team than them after beating them twice in this tournament and winning the European Cup from them!If i was Portugese i would probably feel like them but fortunately i am not hehe.
Some abusive posts had to be erased from the Greek side and the same took place with some posts by some Portugese people that just cannot accept defeat!
We finished first in our qualifying group knocking out great Ukraine and beating the Spanish team in their home ground and leaving them into second place having to play a knock out game with Norway in order to qualify for the European Championship!
We qualified from our group stage in the Euro2004 by beating the host nation in the opening game,drawing with the Spanish team whos coach was talking about revenge before the game and stuff like that and by loosing to our Russian friends but that didnt harmed us since on the other game Portugal and Spain had to fight for their life in an almost knockout match!
We won one of the top three teams in the world,France,on the quarter finals and we beat players like Zidane,Henry and Pires that each one of them costs as much as the whole Greek team!
We beat the best team of the tournament in the semi final,the Chezch Republic,that scored 3 goals on Nederlands,3 goals on Denmark and 2 goals (usings its second team) against Germany.BUT they couldnt score a single goal against us and they lost crystal clear to us on the extra time where we could easily score even 2nd and 3rd goal!
Then on the final we won for the second time in this tournament the HOST NATION PORTUGAL in front of its crowd in a fair game!The referee was fair and we just played better and won the cup.
WHAT ELSE HAVE WE TO DO IN ORDER FOR YOU OUR FOREIGNERS FRIENDS TO ADMIT THAT WE WERE THE BEST TEAM OF THE TOURNAMENT????
The offensive teams didnt managed to do anything in the tournament (Holland,France,Spain) so why should we follow the same tactics like they did?
If you wanna loose then keep this fascinating offensive tactic,we will just keep our defensive tactic and beat you every time!

Now now Detox... Yes you won and you deserved it 100%. But on any given day where Spain, France, Portugal, Italy, Brazil, UK and yes even Denmark play up to their best Greece wouldn't stand a chance.
Sorry I dont want to put the Greek effort down (yes you played a better match than the Portugeese in the Final) but it's the god given truth that none of the teams you have meet in this tournament lived up to their potential. Of course it's their problem - not yours But come down from the clouds mate. The Greek team is not that good that they can beat these teams if they had played the kind of Football they usually play.
Again congratulations. Enjoy it while it last. Denmark won in '92 and haven't come close since. I am 100% sure the same will happen to Greece |

Kris Portugal and Spain the last two years played three games each with Greece.You wanna know the final outcome of the total of these six games for Greece?
Three wins for us,two with Portugal in their home ground and one with Spain in their home ground too.
Two draws,one with Portugal in their home ground in a friendly match and with us playing with TEN players for one half and one draw with Spain in the second game of the group stage of the Euro 2004.
One defeat in Athens to Spain on the debut game of the qualifying stage before the Euro 2004.
So that is a total of 3 wins,2 draws and 1 defeat.
SO PLEASE you can mention France,Italy and Brazil on your example BUT for sure you cannot mention anymore Spain and Portugal because we are simple better team than them for the last two years!
Time will tell if this great success was just a rocket or not.
P.S You still havent answered me on my PM before ten days hehe.

iff the portugese where the winners and they had played as we did i think that they would be very happy!!!!
i know it herts a lot to loose from greece a small country with not so much football history but with a lot of heart we find your wicknesess and we use that to kill you nobody sead thats not alowed so stop buzzing your heads with the "why" and "we where better" or "whe deserved it more" because if all of that was true you would be the winners and not greece.
dont cry because you have the skills its true but is for sure that we have the brains!!!!!
we winn and thats finnal hope to meet you again in the same stadium to beat you again yes beat you because you danced greek tsifdedelic and zorba techno hahaha!!!!
