"Spiral Energy" is a window into three different projects all from the same producer Ralph Knobloch. Ralph is one of the most prolific producers in the Psytrance scene today, the man behind Braincell, Solar Spectrum, Unknown Reality and also one half of Rastaliens. He has been producing since 1994, which is already 20 years of tearing up dance-floors across the world. His progressive Solar Spectrum project is represented by the track “Pounding Drops”. Bouncing bass and uplifting melodies create a track perfect for any sunrise. To
represent his fullon side, Braincell we have two pounding tracks “Compact Tools” and “Spiral Energy”. Compact tools show off Braincell’s deep Psytrance sound, whilst Spiral Energy has a classic feel to it. To finish the release off perfectly we have “Spaced Out” from Unknown Reality, which is Ralph’s brand new chill out project, blissed-out ethnic sound-scapes full of cosmic cadences. Which ever kind of mood your in there is music to fit all of them within Spiral Energy.

Loved his previous works, especially his tracks in Glowing Flame era circa period 2005-2008. His latest themes are more mature, more filtered, you can fell sounds "breathing", but music itself has become less saikedelik & little boring imho.
However, Ralph is one of the most unique & profilic "liquid" producers around. Rastaliens is also a worthy pick for any colorful dancefloor! Top notch hypnotic liquid psychedelia!
