Golan Avramov, A.K.A Brain bubbles is releasing his second album @ USTA records. As a veteran of old school goa, Golan's creation can be generaly defined as progressive trance touched with goa melodies.

1. Final Fantasy
2. Auditorium
3. New Style
4. Be Creative
5. Music began
6. More Activity
7. Beautiful
8. Ambient

I personaly feel that Golan has not recieved his full attention in the trance scene. He's been here longer than most of us, producing music and DJ'ing when the scene was only a couple of young travelers passing new hypnotic sounds in MDs and DATs. His first album was released a year ago, and now he comes with new, improved progressive line, more minimal and dark, yet old timers will surely enjoy the touch of melodies in the tracks.

The album opens with the dark Final Fantasy, guitar strings and phat kick - a really good one for the opening of an album. followed by a an autmospheric Auditorium and the scratchy New Style - wicked oriental singing sample and a brilliant effect work.
Be Creative holds the album's main hit, starts as a dark rolling progressive track, minimal dripping sounds and a massive low kik-bassline, 'till about 3.30 min, where the whole track chenges completely into a blast. WARNING - this track has been tested on various dancefloors and has been redeemed hazardous!#$#@
Music Began - again a master combination on interesting progressive work with atmospheric flow, followed by the wierd sounding More Activity, to the 'Bus'-sounding Beautiful (one of my favorite tracks here). the whole album holds the thin line between wierd, progressive structure and the atmospheric flowing of the tracks.

although some of the tracks are a bit on the wierd side, it offeres one of the best combinations between new and old styles, and you never know what to expect next. I say give this album a good listening, it takes some time to understand all the small neuances and touches in it.

RECOMENDED!
