read my last post ppl i was pretty pissed off when I wrote so i kinda went off there, maybe i exaggerated a bit, but overall, is what i said in my pervious post not true? If anyone wants to flame me for what I said it's cool i wont get mad I just want an honest response.

By golly sosets I'm not telling you to lie. Just please be a little respectful. Give some constructive criticism. Maybe you could write a review telling everyone what you didn't like about the party. So that it gets better next time. Now it just seems you want TDC to go disappear, and that's why you seem like a troll and soon nobody is going to pay attention to you.

I had a great time, as a fact many new faces, mean the scene is growing. I was enjoying the atmosphere and sweatin" danced my a$$-Off without any substance or alchohol, however if i want to, i still could dance in my mind with music if it's what my sense want me to experience (and many people experience this). Great energy for sure (not to metion lots of cute girls  . Ocelot never stop dancing till I leaft the venue. This organizers are solid team (no doubt definitely contain love in it) and looking forward to be apart of the crowd in NYE. I have a fuqin strong feeling that NYE is gonna be blasting and perfect in any details unles someoe as a hater will do something that not gonna be acceptable, stil the good psytrance scene will expand more narrow minds and implant a third eye in each of us, ok thats my preach today... founder http://www.enkienterprise.com

oh and 1 more thing... i guess its going to far to say that anyone who would do that is a "black hearted little shit" because I know its not as if I have never purposly spread a bad vibe... I have. and i dont think Im a black hearted little shit. But seriously, this party poopooing silliness has got to stop before it tears apart our community and that would not be very funny, now would it? |

ocelot - for goodness sake, don't you get it yet?????? please open up your mind just a little bit and really read what i said. once again, sigh, i never said i hate tdc. i came to the party hoping that it would be good. stop twisting my words and stop making stupid judgements about my reasons for posting. perhaps you should look at yourself to discover why you keep making those judgements. |

Soset i'm sorry to say that you,despite your big words and despite anything you migth have done for the trance scene in general, dont understand a thing about the experience of psy trance. You treat trance like a materialistic/capitalistic endevour, because just in case you dont know,TDC make minimal profit or lose at the parties they throw(this isint hard to figure out), and it might as well be labeled a free party, because as far as anyone is concerned, we're just a big group of people throwing money to have a party happen. This isint about TDC being the best in the world, or doing everything perfectly(this is assuming its possible to make party where everything is perfect according to EVERYONE who attends opinion, which I think most people would agree, isint)the first time.They're only human. I dont recall them ever having a major fuck-up at party, or them screwing people over in any way whatsoever. Sure, their could be a few more minor problems, but they realize this and everyone can agree, with each party are constantly improving, I mean their only human. Sadly enough, people like you are treating this like some product in some supermarkets shelf. Their is no reason to publically disgrace underground psychedelic trance parties, it is obvious you have litle understanding of respect, I advise you get some, because karma can be quite a fucking bitch. TDC parties IMO are evolving into something which will bloom, and people will be more than thankful that they are available. I have a lot of respect for the TDC crew, and everyone else who throws underground,local, commercial, whatever, psy-trance parties in the NYC scene who are working their asses off, before, during, and after parties so that as many people as possible can have a good psychedelically enriched time. As I said before, keep up the awesome parties, their are many people who enjoy them for the great psychedelic experience fun and positive vibes that they contain!Sorry for the long post, but this kinda shit is pissing me off. Their is a big difference between helpful criticsm and saying the shit soset posted. Peace

everyone has all taken a stance against one person here... and when i read over his posts, it's clear to me that there is no malicious intent...if you re-read them without focusing on those 'bad' words, maybe u will see it too.... look i don't know this guy but i know we tend to get caught up in semantics....and for a forum based community..that is all we have... words on a screen....so you see the word 'shitty'...and get stuck on the negative connotations of that
many things make up an opinion and you need to consider this too... soset doesn't "hippy-coat" his words like many people here do. that's o.k. i don't see why everyone needs to react so strongly and emotionally.
in saying that, i also definitely agree that there is a way to express yourself in a more peaceful and non-abrasive way....
and hey soset people tend to listen more to what you're saying if you don't offend them!
maybe it's time to let it go and make a big joke out of it...... or is it too soon yet? is it too soon to joke about SARS? let me know.....

wasnt there but heard from my friends the party was amazing great deco great muzik great energy. i know all TDC guys personally the all my good friends and they are all great and friendly people who try hard to bring trance to you guys in nyc and east coast. i really wish thwm good luck for the next party and wish to be there sooo much. and for all of you just ignore this soset dude. for those who know russian.......we say V SEM`E NE BEZ URODA/

Ok it’s time for someone to give a real review for this party so here we go .
Came to the party earlier than usual around 1:30 - 2 , the first thing that I tried to C if the sound have improved due the problems at resent event in the place with the sound. It was pleasant to here an improvement also the place was nicely decorated and not as cold as last time on Pentas party (it was really cold that day in side). The place was pretty empty at that time, I hoped that it’s just to early (I guess I was wrong). As the time go on not a lot of PPL came so the vibe want that strong for me ( one of the thing that make a good party for me is the crowd ), but the energy in the place was OK, plus it was my friend B-day so we were happy and doing our own thing. Music wise the party was just a OK, it wasn’t bad but (specially from Dark Soho) I have expected for more never the less I have “diged” a little holes from time to time. The bottom line I came to the party with no expectations and left it more or less the same (not exited), it was as I stated im my previous post “not the best party in the world ….” but not a bad one ether (maybe a bit week that’s all)
To TDC crew I C u guys putted effort in this event and its good to C U learning from the past its only ur 3 party, keep up the good work practice make perfection

I want to thank the TDC crew for inviting me to play at this party...I had a really good time...Great sets from both Boxer and Ocelot...danced my ass off for most of the night  :)
...this space has so much potential...in NYC, you should be glad you have to opportunity to go to parties like this...you should not take it for granted that you can have parties that go all night....would you rather have nothing at all???? when I read posts like this...it makes me not want to bother putting effort into anything to do with this scene...there will always be ppl talking shit and not appreciating the effort and money and time that many people put in to make this happen.
To come out and say that TDC are "horrible organizers haha"...why? To me a horrible organizer is someone who doesn't pay artists a fee that was agreed upon...and I can tell you that that is not the case with this crew....
So why all the shit talking?? You have a crew who is willing to bring international acts to new york city, a venue with a lot of potential, would you rather have Boston where all the clubs close at 2am and the organizers only want to bring local progressive acts to play?????

i for one wish i could have made it to this but alas i live 12 hours away. it seems again that everyone has a strong opinion. i for one would love to hear ocelot and lauryn and even boxer for that matter, since at our festival i was too busy riding my bike around keeping the thing running and not able to dance most of the time, and i mostly missed boxer's set then... im sure he had some new killers. and ocelot killed it at as one festival i am hoping i can hear him again live sometime!
make your own damn parties if you wish to cut down the efforts of others. ive said this before to others who choose to discredit and criticise the efforts of other party organizers. they cant all be perfect events, you know the best comes to those who wait and put in energy. and to those who stand in back and wonder how they could improve the experience, fucking DO something about it, instead of being little whiney bitches. talk is cheap. spend 5 hours decorating or figure out how to make a crap soundsystem sound good or try to gather hundreds of dollars out of nowhere to bring in artists who have something worthwile to offer... dont just complain... even spending time defending your opinions is a waste of time, you should be doing something else. like making plans for the next party which could be all better and hit all your special points and make you feel like its the first party you ever went to.... or help out the crew that needs special attention instead of insulting them. or better yet, stay at home and be the only person dancing, cause you know the dancefloor dont need your negative energy if youre going to hold a grudge about being that person!!!! ive been that one person before and at the end of the night, i felt light and glad for having the opportunity to live my life! fuck all the bitching. fuck all that bullshit, just be positive. cause the next thing you know, there wont be any more parties, people willing to spend all day putting together events so that people can complain about them... i dont know, i look at the pictures and there are people enjoying themselves! i dont see anyone bitching or looking bummed out!
if you know how to be the best party organizer then do it, stop slacking, cause we all will benefit. if you arent willing to put in the effort to make your thoughts and dreams real, then be quiet unless you can put in the time and effort required. its a daunting task, but we all need to do our part.

Shit, looks like a good party to me from the pictures, so what that there werent many ppl, if you want a lot of ppl, go to a hiphop party. Its a shame that the sound was a bit subpar as some ppl said. I definitely hope to make a TDC event soon (only 7-8 hrs drive). As with regards to soset, I think that any kind of publicity is good publicity. Every time he (1 person) says something bad about the party, there are ten ppl with counterexamples that make me, for one, want to attend.
