So..what's the deal with recording your send/return track's audio when you record an audio track within ableton?
I just tried to record all my groups (Kick/Bass, Lead, Percussion, Pad/Atmos, FX) and noticed that the send was NOT recorded.
I know that if you freeze and bounce the track, the send isn't applied to the resulting audio file, but I thought that recording 1:1 would record the send?
I know that I can just route the output of the sends to another track and record that, but I was hoping to have each individual group previously mentioned have their own send FX recorded
help!

my guess:
put ur individual effects on the group instead of the send channel.
but why do u what the effect bounced with the track? u can just turn up the sends on the bounced group track.. if its in the same project of course..
Ohh yeah. fiddle and boom. Ableton addict :)

Create an audio track, and use "Resampling" for audio in ? this way you can solo the tracks you want, and record the master bus. |

I posted in another thread:
Make a return channel exclusively for the channels you're trying to bounce. Send only those channels to that return, then bounce it.
Easier would be to group then, then send the group and bounce the return track.

OK - unless you set your audio track that you are recording into as "resampling" then the sends will not be recorded...but as long as you have it set to resampling it records everything
so for each group create a audio channel, route the group to that audio channel and 1:1 record it
