Is there a way to bounce 4 vsts on 4 diffrent midi tracks into 4 individual audio tracks?
Or do I have to do this manually one by one?
Cheers,
Jeto

Im using Nuendo 3 btw.
@tsabeat I do have a mutiple output soundcard, but bouncing isnt this internal, im not recording anything, just rendering.
the reason being is, i have a lot of projects that are in the works with a lot of vsts open but the CPU is almost maxing out. instead of solo'ing each trak and selecting markers on each track and individually exporting them, i was wondering if there is a function where i can just select the markers select all the tracls and bounce and they will bounce in individual tracks.
if there is a way to do this.. OMG it help me so much.
Please advice, as someone has already told me its possible just not sure how.
Regards,
Jeto

Jeto i have no clue, but a suppose it dont work, cause of the workload it would take to export/render 4 tracks at the same time.. though i think it would be nifty if you could choose the tracks you wanted to export and it did them one by one..

I can only tell you how to do it in SX3, which will allow you to bounce up to 3 stereo tracks at the same time, but Nuendo should be the same, pretty much, and might enable bigger bounces.
Assuming each instrument is stereo:
Create a 6.0 group and route each instrument you want to bounce to it, using the surround panner on each instrument's audio track to make sure that each instrument is routed to a different pair of channels within the 6.0 group. Go to the Export Audio dialog as usual and select the 6.0 group as the output to export. Next select 'N Chan Split' as the Channels option, name your audio file and export. SX will create six audio files with the left and right stereo sides of all three VSTis each in their own file. You can then recombine them into stereo files using either an external audio editor or by importing and re-exporting as stereo interleaved in SX.
It's not as quick as you'd like, I'm sure, and it's a bit fiddly, especially setting up the surround panners exactly for each instrument, but it works.
Hope this helps.

Alas, rendering multiple outputs at one time is a feature which Cubase has been long overdue for. To my knowledge, they still have not put the feature in the new Cubase 4.
I did write a macro using a freeware macro maker program, and defining a few key commands, which would effectively do the job. It worked ok, but some folks may have a little trouble understanding how to set it up. The other shortcoming is that the selection markers cannot be automated to end later than the last event (i.e. if your running delays or reverbs, they will get cut off where the last event ends).
SilverSpike's TapeIt2 is a VST plugin you can put on each channel to record to an audio file.
I know Sonar can do multiple renders at one time.

Is there a way to bounce mutiple audio files with inserts on them..?
Reason being.. i have some older projects.. good stuff with a lot of inserts on each channel causing my CPU to overload.
If there is a way to bounce all those channels to single wav files with the effects included.. I could just delete the old channels and have a good mixdown of my track. this would free up resources and enable me to work further and complete things...
Please any tips advice is useful...

Word... I guess im gonna have to take that extra step...
Someone at work told me they do this with Logic and there should be a way to do it in Cubase. Hence this post. If it were possible that would make life easy...
I guess making trance music isnt always that "easy"
Thanks for all the fast responses and inputs...
greatly appreciated..
adios
