I've heard a lot of producers recommend bouncing MIDI parts for further control over the sound but I'm not sure exactly how to do it. The logical approach would be to solo the MIDI track and just export the part as a WAV...Is this the general way to bounce MIDI? (Unlike Audio where you can just right click a part and hit bounce and automatically get it replaced in the project).

Can Cubase automatically replace MIDI parts with their Audio coutnerpart, or must that be done manually?

Solo the track/s u want, then choose the correct loop, then click file export audio file.
Choose settings, at the bottom of the panel there are 2 tick boxes, that say pool and audio track check both of em, and when the export is complete a audio track gets created with the new file in the correct place between the locators.
