Seems to me this year Ozora is generating more interest than Boom.

Boom 2008 as we all know was over subscribed, however will this edition (limited to 27k people) promise to hold the magic of the previous editions ?

Ozora happened in 09 as well , so does that make the wait for Boom special ?

Which one would you freaks prefer ?

Boom !

Ozora!
Simply because its line-up is much better than Boom Commerce of Trance Festival.
Where else would you dance to Man With No Name, for instance?

I don't know if the weather is a subject of a consideration and if that's the case than Ozora>Boom           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

been to both.. love them both. when I went to Ozora it rained a lot so no chance to see many art activities.. It depends what you want out of a festival. if you're only interested in the music then go to the one with the best line up, if you are also into art/workshops... then it's Boom.
what makes a festival is also your circle of friends, your vibe and the vibe of others...

and the true GOA vibe is in these small festivals/raves where everyone attending tandav to the same beats and this leads to active meditaion on the mind body n soul!!!           ~~Co-Creator of A Ritual~~

I don't see a decline in interest for boom at all. As a vendor for the Boom tickets in Amsterdam I see a huge demand for the tickets. We have sold many already and couldn't even sell tickets to all people interested so far.

Both should be a really nice experience i'd say. But I am putting my money on Burning man festival this year

Sorry but that wasnt my intention...just wanted your opinion on which you would prefer if you cant make it to both

So far, we still cant agree on weather as it has rained in Ozora before and Boom tends to get very HOT !

Lineup wise , BOOM has the old school yogis this year hehehe

BOOM is more expensive but has got its share of critics for "commercialism"

Just thought this would be interesting conversation as both festivals are close to each other

@ supergrooover, good to know tickets are selling out !
I said interest appears waning for BOOM judging the excitement on the festival thread where in 2008 taht topic had generated a ton of excitement. Guess the online world is not a true representation of the actual picture so thanks for you input !!

Ozora better lineup, but that's about it.

Boom has a LAKE which is very important considering the heat, cinemas and stuff which is really interesting when your done with dancing for the day, and better food!

However at Boom the dancefloor is very dusty and dry which really doesn't make it a nice place to chillout sitting on the ground.
Add to it that the sound is just very bad when you're not standing in the middle of the dancefloor.

At Ozora the sound is great from 150 meters distance!

@ Spams: you serious BOOM will have these Gold Gems in its line-up? If it's true, it will be most amazing line-up ever.

^^ yes just check their site: http://www.boomfestival.org/boom2010/arts-culture/music/dance-floor

and the decision of them only allowing a certain number of people is the best they made. in 2008 it was way overcrowded          ...

been to boom 2008 and ozora 2009 and this year for now im going to boom (i really hope i can make it to ozora aswell but probably wont be able to )

there is absolutely no room for comparison between these two festivals as they are very different and each one has their own specialties and shortcomings...

both are wonderful festivals and are a must for every party goer
