I think the line up is well balanced in the fact that a lot of the live acts are more darker affairs, but to look at the DJ's - Antaro, Chicago, Shane Gobi - all play full on/melodic trance. Also Emok plays very euphoric progressive which suits the daytime perfectly. Atmos live outdoors is something to be cherished, I think we are on to a winner here... |

I dont agree that the line up is well balanced. I see it as a not expensive one with the ticket prices very high $$$$$ its PROFIT TIME
The Lives are to much dark time dont forget its 4 or 5 days of festival. Where are the mornings and the groovy ones. The lives are not balanced. Hope that i dont hv to listen lives at 9 or 10 o clock like Xenomorph at 2 years ago jzzzzzzz
Beside that ok everybody can buy the ticked before but not everybody can make antecipated plans and i never buy nothing without knowing the line up.
100 euros at the gate is a scandal accept the reality and dont come with the thing of spirit this spirit that. Today the spirit is an excuse to make more money

Hey Leuname - so you would run a festival of this size and break even, make no money and go home happy? Gimme a break man!
They are flying Dark Nebula from Australia and Space Tribe will no doubt be after some travel costs as well.
I wish everyone would just stop whining and if it is so bad - then just ignore it. Make your own festival, book all the artists you want, then you have no reason to complain. But be careful not to charge anymore than 50e otherwise people are bound to take offence. I live in the UK - it is costing me £118 + rental car + ticket cost to go to Boom. It is a five day festival as you say, for the price for me of £52.
The Glade Festival in the UK - all the artists I am sure you would love is 3 days and two nights and costs £75 + booking fee.
Boom for me is cheap as chips! |

Fair call man...
On another happier note - the music at Boom will stop at each day at 1400 in the afternoon and start again at 1900. So - a lot of music for your money - more so than Samothraki which was 130e for a ticket! |

I disagree - I think the darker stuff is just what the doctor ordered - remember the original Goa stuff wasn't particularly happy-clappy, the melodies frequently were in minor keys and it could sound quite foreboding...

Disagree - I think the pop-trance should stay in the Israeli charts and stop ruining our parties - if I wanted to hear that I'd have got into Hard House. My opinion - in small doses (like once or twice in a set) it's fine, but so, so many of the parties I've been to this year have had music policies whereby it's just been Astrix followed by GMS, followed by Melicia, followed by Protoculture... to quote Stan from South Park, it's cheesy and lame!
I wouldn't be so against it if it hadn't been so overplayed of late... |

So i will yell, and shout,and argue, as much as this duration of earn- spend theory goes on in this topic!!!

I have to ask - why are you so insistent that a party's going to be no good without GMS/Astrix/Infected/Skazi there?
There's nothing intrinsically 'better' about their music to my ears, and as I've said before I've found most of their more recent releases less than inspiring.
I know this is an Israeli trance forum, but to dismiss a festival on the grounds that it's not the same old cheesy Israeli full-on as almost everywhere else this summer is a very blinkered attitude to take, don't you think?

I really don't think you could call Space Tribe, ManMadeMan, Atmos or Tristan newcomers, and the entry fee is pretty cheap compared with many of the other festivals.
