Man... it must be in our genes!! If you have nothing good to say please refrain from posting. Of course you are entitled to your own opinion, but what the hell.. It seems to me that some of us "tugas" can only see the negative side of things. Always complaining and whining What sissies! I'm sure it was because of this attitude that our section was closed.
As for the line-up, well I was also hoping to see a few names, that unfortunatelly will not be there. But nontheless it is a good line-up: no GMS, Skazi, Talamasca, Astrix and all the other names that come here at least 3 times a year. And some great ones (to my taste at least): Atmos!!!, Hydrophonic (about to release debut album on Nano Recs), ManMadeMan, Reflex, Star Sounds Orchestra, Tristan. And remember that most of the music you'll hear will be from dj sets, which last for much more time than a live-act. And we are going to have big and respect names, enough to please all tastes. As for me I'll try not to miss: Alpha & Sangeet, D-Nox, Emok, James Monro, Pena and Peter Didjital.
See you all there |

I would be really happy if it wasn't believe me. Those news ruined my day! But this info is from goa gil's site...so until things get clear, i'll trust in the goa gil's official website, if that isn't true i owe my appologies to good mood.

Am I missing something here? where is the morning lineup? Some nice night and progressive lives but I just couldn't listen to it for 5 days in a row. Where is the light and happiness? sorry, very disapointed.

I have to agree that I'm pretty much dissapointed with the lineup as well...I know this will seem too subjective when I say it but...right now I'm looking more forward to our underwater overground festival than this...of course only in terms of the main floor lineup...from what I see here I'm going to spend much of the boom festival on the chill out floor which has a fantastic lineup...and that's just fine with me...I wasnt planing on going to boom for the trance music anyway...but for the overall feel of the festival and all those other things that fill it up
On the other hand I am really dissapointed that there isn't much diversity in the lineup which I think is the most important thing...some people like full on, some like more progressive...some like more agressive music and some like more melodic stuff...and apart from some names from iboga and DS...the rest is pretty much filled with really agressive night time music...and I'm pretty sorry to hear that...regardless of my musical taste...any type of trance would start to be boring to me after 3 days...which is why diversity is the key figure here...I'm sorry the organisers didn't see that

hahaa, no disapointments here... I believe it's going to be perfect and that they did this on purpose. For sure there will be music to please all the music lovers, key is to be open minded and let the atmosphere conquer you then it will no longer be 'music' but something greater, i'm sure.
and the Blind Wizard will get each and every one of us. can't wait
  cna't find it |

people...in thix line up, almost every type of sound is represented....
people, only want big names (pop names lol), but i see in thix line great producers....and finnaly, no pop trance....everything is very well represented....look @ the artists doing live´s and the dj´s who come 2 play....almost every known label is represented, wether by live´s or dj´s....thix is a very balanced line up....
see 4 instance, atmos was the highest point is samothraki, and he is here 2 play...a lot of good dj´s is also comin...people don´t worry...it´s going 2 b remembered....and don´t worry about the shadows, cause, 4 people that i have talked, they are building a lot of infrastructures 2 bring shadow....people relax...
stay cool

can't believe all the negativity... line-up looks great to me, and anyway, isn't this festival supposed to be about a little more than psy-trance super-stars and their super-egos?
call me old-fashioned, but i'm a firm believer in the idea that whether or not you have a good time is up to you and how positive you are - those who want everything laid out for them so they don't have to contribute in any way are mouthing the mantras of consumer culture - pay your cash for instant gratification.
and by the way, from a south african perspective, i'm totally extatic that both rinkadink and the hydrophonic boys are playing - can't wait for the liquid sounds of regan and chesh. |

Hey!!
This line-up it`s perfect for me!!
Why???
Because I was worry about so many things before like:How I`m gonna get there,$$$,my shape after Omni(And before Transit).????
Now that I saw the line-up,I`m mucho mnore relaxed.
I`m not going at all.
So much better line-ups at the Transit&Omni!!
(Except from Atmos)
Azax Syndrom,Hyper Frequencies???
For Christ sake, enjoy people enjoy and tell me how it was,may be not.I don`t care.l
I think that the Boom crew it`s trying to save some money.

I must say that line up is a true disaster! If the fact wich musician will participate is of that less importance, completely insignificant and of absolutely minor importance, than why bother to bring them at all? It would be the best to pack one computer with mp3's and let it play for 4 days! At Samothraki festivals one was sure that at any time of the day or night, whenever come at the dance area, will find the best quality music. Claim that anyone can DO IT is the same nonsens as to say that Pavaroti could play football like Zidan or that Zidan could sing like Plasido Domingo if only the vibe is right! The fact is that in every job there is a master and it's not possible to compare for eg. a Hallucinogen with some 17 year old boy wannabe DJ who's trading mp3 via net.
O well, I'll be there, and I belive that everyone will have a great time (but not thanks to the music, that for sure |

Hate pavarotti & placido domingo. LILIT Who r u referring to as 17 year old boy who is trading mp3s. As far as I can see even the young artists performing r all truly promising talented ppl who produce innovative psychedelic music...this is not the nineties anymore nor Peters pop-show so get over it (or under if u prefer it that way).
No offense 4 the offender ),
