Boom its going down!
Starting with the attitude
They don't change e-tickets. "Sorry, the system doesn't allow"
my wife can't make for professional reasons, and wanted to chenge the ticket for another friend that would come with me.
Big drama, no chance and shit escuses!
180€ to the toillets
NEXT TIME: f***k the planet, and buy paper tickets!
After 5 booms, its my last one for sure!

I agree that it should not be a major issue to change the name in an eticket!! I also don't understand what is the big deal for BOOM org. There is one ticket valid for one person, who cares if that person is named A or B? Even for the org it would be best to have all the number of people who bought tickets there. More people inside, the more water/beer/food they sell...
However, I have to say that on the eticket conditions it was written clearly that the holder name could not be changed. I bought my ticket in January and I was perfectly aware of that!!
I think that if clearly explained over the phone they will accept the change. One of my friends in 2008 went with another person ticket and he was allowed in.

Some friends changed the ticket's holder name with boom org for a fee of 10 euros with no problem at all!

They are not changing names on e-tickets anymore. They have done it until 31st of July...

yeah, this restriction of not changing the e-ticket name is absurd! Is it even legal?
If it was because of a software system limitation, then there should have been a workaround, like presenting a written authorization from the ticket holder or something like that.
I would understand if it was in a mainstream pop festival, but not in boom, who considers itself open minded and visionary. What kind of blocked vision is that?
ps: I did not need to change my ticket, but I would be really pissed of if I needed to. |

I was able to change my eticket right before the end of July and it dragged a few days into early this month for it to happen because of miscommunication and a system error on their part. I dealt with Mariana.
I too would be totally pissed because of some missed deadline. What an expensive waste of money! They're obviously in it just for the money and they're making shitloads off of this event. You think they care about accomodating some people who can't change their tickets...? |

It seems Boom as changed, and for worst!
I bet this negative atitude will be reflected in the all other vectors of the festival, in general!
But will be here in the end, to clear that out!
meantime, it looks like i'll be making a donation to the mothership bulshit corporation! |
