PSYTOTEM, sure the UN is a group of criminals in certain ways and are impulsing the New World Order, but not all the initiatives are with bad purpose.
If boom can be used as an example to other events and ways of living/thought why shouldn´t they do that?!

About explaining how the world is like it is, nobody should do that for you. Instead, do your own research! Besides, you can´t say that boom does not help in that or you have not been on the liminal village...

Computer games don't affect kids - I mean, if Pacman affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music. :D :D

is that it? here´s hoping they will announce more acts for the main floor.

I for one have trouble making that otherwise nice statement fit with the lineup so far presented. true there is some i consider to fit in with that on the lineup, but as to surpassing boundaries i am left wanting more. I find the lighter side of the festival quite nice (even though i don´t listen to it) the addition of Psychopod is ace!!! i still get goosebumps thinking of stop the carnage. For the deep night i find very little that represents psytrance of today in the way i envision the state of it. Some of what will play in those slots is more likely to scare people away rather than to give them an experience they would otherwise not have had. Maybe i do have a very narrow taste but then again i have high expectations to this music in general seeing as how deeply profound an influence it has had on me over the years. If i am to do my precious ears in, it better be to some seriously groundbreaking stuff.
Hard to please everybody i know, but please try harder anyway.

just chill dude!
there is still 4-5 months left!!!!!hello?

every boom they keep adding artists on the lineup right up till the start date almost

personally i hate 95% of the artists, I barf when i hear fullon and run home when I hear darkpsy, proggressive got boring, Im going for some tech house , techno and some psy prog, and mostly just because the best dj Mr james monro is playing this year. That is musically but the biggest attraction is still the whole culture the crowd and complete freedom.

Ambient Paradise [update]

Ambient Paradise is the name chosen to give form to the chill out area for Boom Festival 2010, producing a space with all the characteristics of a decompression chamber.

COMFORT + VISUAL INPUT + SOUND INPUT = CHILL OUT AREA

Sustainability is our major goal in 2010. Several measures are adopted to support this concept, as the use of a 100% reusable structure, bio-construction techniques and our lighting system uses 100% LED technology. Plus, our backoffice adopts this as a daily ethos, no paper use during the production period is a practice, giving preference to reusable data supports for information exchange.

Decorative and functional lighting, 3D scenery (autoclave cellular concrete sculptures), and the water as the festival theme, forms the kit necessary to provide for the visual requirements.

The scenery designer Rita Noro is invited to participate and we host once again the sculptor Broll Jholl Marrallo, and both of them together with the rest of the crew, give shape and aesthetic magic to Ambient Paradise 2010.

This years music selection continues to be a mirror of a diversity of styles within the range of ambient music, giving, for the first time, a particular attention to segments with little expressions on our usual program. Names such as Murcof and Antonio Testa, personify our commitment in presenting new landscapes and sonic aesthetics that are not related with the conventional ambient-psytrance but are some of the deepest and most ethereal music being made today.

We seek to show different music routes brought by musicians of different scenes, trying once more to contribute to the well being of the public and the artist hosted.

Welcome to Ambient Paradise 2010!

I dont think there will be that many new names added to the line-up (psy-trance wise)...and i have to agree im missing some names in the line-up!!! Not possible to please everyone, i know...but could use a bit more bubbly, forest sounds....

What a letdown by looking at the ambient list...

I hope that some more good artists are added!
In 2008 that area was completely abandoned, contrasting with the great construction and line up of both 2006 and 2004
