since im not working 2day... i guess i`ll be the first
i dont even know where to start
location: somewere out there in the desert near hanokdiom farm.
party area including 3 big tents, chillout zone, "dining room" and dancefloor... and later noticed that they opened another tent
with jug workshop.
which gave the party the feeling of a mini festi, while all surrounded by the amazing neverending landscapes of our desert.
perfect location!!!!!!!!!
weather: PERFECT!
music: we got there around 06:00 and borris already was spining mostly prog house tunes, what an opening for the morning
yuli took over and started with fluffy progy stuff moving to a bit more pumpimg sound.
shanti continued with some progy tunes but couldnt hold himself much and moved to full on
after shanti came david with his very special touch, its allways a pleasure to listen to this guy... mixing almost all styles in and somehow it allways comes out great with a nicey flow.
after that, it was zirkin... and my cue to leave the dancefloor area
then huda droped some full on bombs and u actually could see me on my feet moving from side to side
just b4 he finished i had to leave... im positive that zombi kept it kicking!
over @ the chill out zone shahar was the first... spent there an hour or so, needless to say it was great
then depths of despair... also spent there an hour or so wich i REALY enjoyed!!! a bit more idm next time please
then itay kukan... but i missed most of his set.
croud: from 1 year old babies to over 40 and 50 year old ppl.
a true gathering
food: damn all was yummy!!!!!!!
the soup was excellent
sound: yeah it was crapy... but since it was such a great event, it didnt bothered me much.
thanx: to every single person that was involed in this and every single person that was present... u r all great
ps: its a very short review
i had a blast and hope to see u all next year in a not less amazing birth day party
happy birth day bob

Great Event!
Production - Very well organized, in a Bedouin-like area with heated tents, free chai chop, free good food (pasta, soup, bread and more).
The place also had nice toilets, shower, pottery center and running water which was great for this weather.
Also a lottery was being held, with first prize flight to Amsterdam. I won a Doof record (which I forgot to take...David, you owe me...;-)
Music - Got there in the beginning at 5AM (was damn colllllllllld), when darwish started playing chill-minimal set, great for opening, afterward perfect stranger came up, really like his new style, though I started feeling the need for some killer beats.
Then came shanti - always pleasure to hear this mate, cheers. Afterward Zirkin with very special bizarre set, I like. But my favorite in this party was Huda G, Really Dug me to the ground, first time I hear him doing a morning set and the man sure knows the job - Thanks, man, greater closure for a great party. We couldn't stay for the next DJ (was it zombi?), had a looong way back home to Haifa, sorry dude.
Sound - two set of turbo sound did the job though I think it could have been a little louder, I don't think the neighbors would have mind.
People - about 250 of very exclusive crowd (was it omer barnea I saw there?), some older, some with children, some raste and almost no face at all. Some cute girls, fell in love with one of them. Noa, if you read this, give me a call...;-)
Location - Amazing Scenery of the dead see and the desert mountains. Had the trippiest walk down the hills, with the sheep all around me.
All in all, great party, very invested production, cheers Bob, David and the rest, hope to see more events like this from you guys.
Tomer.

Happy birthday and big thanx to Bob. Big thanx to all who worked and took part in this amazing event with amazing energies, and made it such a professional production. Big thanx to all who played- from me especially to those who agreed to contribute to our chill area- Philip Agalactia, Shahar Depth of Despair & Itai Kukan.
To remind you- everyone did it for no money just for love, and all money goes to children in need.
Thanx to all who came and contributed with buying the tickets, that danced and visited the chill tent.
And big thanx to the desert, which is now so beautiful, covered with green, and swarming with small creatures enjoying the short time left before hot summer comes.
You all made my weekend one of the best I had in a long while.
It was great seeing that events like this can happen here. Parties with beautiful nature, a lot of love, big unity and diversity, with people who consider themselves trancers and people who don't, people of all ages, families, dogs and even a resident cat in the chill tent!
I've got a lot of energy for the coming week now
BTW Yossi, age difference was probably 2 weeks to 70 and not 1-50 years old.

Bobs birthdays is a very good occasion for great party, and this one was a greatest u can think about. Location, logistic, music and crowd - all was on top !!
I came there on early morning after finished my obligations in Tel Aviv and after few deep breaths of crystal clear cold desert air and tasty shakshuka falt down and slept for 4 hours in Chill Out zone which was perfectly prepared for ppl who need real rest, man i slept in BED into heated tent with relaxing music on background (only for some time one of djs there played minimal techy stuff which maked my sleep a bit overdreamed), it was so fun!
Then pasta was ready and with full stomach i went down to dancefloor, few hours of karahana music passed like half hour for me, i been there with beers and laughs, sitting and watching desert once again. In 18.00 i got to play and it was another peak of fun for me, i found my way down to straight electro set and few ppl that was still on dancefloor laughed with me.
I wanna thanx Bob for everything, you realy did it fun for everybody who been there, i enjoyed donate my music and share the laughs with you and your special family!
  Believe your soul ! |

WOW!
What a great party!
First thing's first - HAPPY BIRTHDAY BIG BOB!!
It's been a long time since I enjoyed a party so much such as I enjoyed your party... I think it was Doof's Festival up in the north (Dugit).
The landscapes are amazing there!
Do you really think we would've put the speakers trolly (Nigrar) there if we had seen the view - we got there at night!... we couldn't have seen it. ..good thing you've asked us to move it.
The production was amazing!!! the place was unbelievably organized (It's THE desert... yeah..!.. even the "parking lot" was marked!
Perfect TEN for the "kitchen Staff"!
It was very cold at night and the tents were warm and cozzy with many sofas' and mattresses to sit and sleep... hot soup that was really made from the heart with lots of herbs and vegetables.
Chai, hot dogs, bread, Chai, GREAT CAKES (I'm starting a diet 'cause of you guys!
The dance floor:
Great place in front of a GREAT landscape!
ONE set Turbosound (Two Towers is ONE set). The sound was fairly OK for one set!
The DJ's were all excellent... all the people there (100%) were good people!
Really!?? - it WAS Omer Barne'a there.. I'm sure it was him!..
That party is a perfect example for how a party should look and be.
Thank you Bob (Happy Birthday again!), Shachar, and all the other organizers!
Love ya!

Guys, it was wonderful: The place, the people, the music, the sound. It was all good.
Happy Birthday to Bob, who is looking much much younger than his age. All thanks to trance, I guess.
I had a lot of fun dancing - a perfect way to end my week-long vacation from the army and to prepare me to the hard work ahead.

Now that was a nice party… let’s sum it up, shall we?
Location: a slightly greenish desert, overlooking the Dead Sea, beautiful. We got to the place almost on sunrise and were amazed to find such an organized place. The organization was fitting a small festival and not a trance party. When you entered you received a bottle of mineral water (quote: “for the way back”), a numbered bracelet and a garbage bag. Toilets, shades, faucets with running water, organized party spot, sofas to sit on; the whole nine yards. The place was a little rocky outside the dancefloor or the chaishop, but in those places the floor was carpeted. Yes, the ground was covered and so we could dance barefoot.
Music: when we got there Dr. Borris was already giving his show, and you know that with Borris it is a show. No matter what music it is, it is always fun to watch him play, and the music was good too. Next came the Perfect Stranger (the artist formerly known as BLT ) and gave the best set of the party IMHO, including Space Boogie. a really joyous set which made most people dance wildly. After that it was David Darwish time, which was ok, but not my cup of tea. He was followed by GuyShanti who afaik was supposed to play later. A nice selection of tunes and a nice set overall. Good boy shanti . Next was Zirkin. After that Huda-G played his tunes, off hours IMHO, but still nice and entertaining. I was too tired to dance at that point, so we left without getting a chance to hear Zombi play.
People: the selected few who bought their tickets on presale and knew what to expect. Safest party I’ve been to in ages. I saw people just leave their Nikon D70 lying around, not even in a case or hidden, but right there on the table, and then they went somewhere without anyone watching over it. People left anything they wanted anywhere and there wasn’t a chance of anything happening. People were nice and friendly, average age much closer to my age than usual.
Organization: Top notch. Really. The food was good, the location was good, the people, the music.
Pet Peeves: The ride home. It is scary on the roads on Saturday afternoon…. Not the best location for a frisbee game.
Personal Highlights: The one and only Asher Haviv dancing like crazy The sunrise. The Shakshuka.
Bottom Line: To sum it up, this was a gem of a party, a true rarity in our life. May all those who helped live a long and prosperous life; you deserve it.

WOW !!
It takes only 3 letters to describe this incredible weekend. I am still in extreme shock and feel as if it was all a dream. It really did seem like one. This is one of the hardest reviews I have written. I simpley can't find the right words to express what went on this weekend.
The location was absolutely amazing! The view was spectacular! I often found myself taking some walks all by myself, finding a nice rock to sit on, staring, smiling and thinking, what the hell can be better? NOTHING!! It was perfect!
The crowd was the best I have ever seen! Everywhere I turned, I saw a beautiful smile. It was really nice seeing the kids run around, giggling and playing. Many friendly dogs and one sleepy cat.
As for the music:
I got there around 6 am, Borris was spinning some very cool tunes, warming up the crowd. Then Yuli took over and rocked the dancefloor like he knows how. Darwish gave a nice set as well. The last track he played was the perfect ending. GuyShanti stepped in with some groovy beats lifting it up to some killer full on. Zirkin (I left to the chill out zone and I guess everyone else wandered off somewhere too ) . . . . Huda G ended my loooooong weekend with powerful tunes. I dug like there was no tommorrow. I left in the middle.
As for the chill out zone: I passed by and chilled every now and then. It was a nice place to sip my hot yummmmmy chai, lay back with great, quality music and just chat around.
My Personal highlights:
The Chai was absolutly yummy! I drank like 10 cups.
I was the one who won the ticket to the Moksha party. Too bad because I am going to Empire, duh! hehe
For all u sceptic, YES, it was Omar Barmea (or however he is named) . . .
In conclusion, I'd like to say that this was one of the best parties I have ever been to! A HUGE Thank you to everyone who was involved and took action in this amazing event. Thank you all who smiled and passed on good vibes and positive energies!
Happy Birthday to Bob! May he live forever and keep on making these parties once a year!
Now where are the pictures??? PPL must see to believe!
Have a beautiful week everyone and see you in the south!
Live for the journey, not the destination. |

after all that was written what more can I say? I am still a few cm' above ground, flying in a dream, eventhough I already spoiled the weekend with a hard day of work. BUT...nothing can spoil this memory!
Thank you bob!! I took a shower at this party! can you believe this?
one small piece of missing information is that the party was held at a funky ranch (hava) in the negev. this is why we had running water, toilets, couches, SHOWER, etc...
It was great to be in a daytime party, from sunrise to sunset with an "after" at the end!! yes Zombi, it felt like a private "after " with you and us about 7 people or so...You made me laugh, was a killa set!!! Everything was said about the rest. But I have to say it even if it was said before, it was so nice being in a party that felt so safe, the people sooo nice! (Karnaf, it was me with the D-70, that was actually pretty stupid to do..)
Happy Birthday Boby my trance brother. love you. |

No, I wasn't talking about you and I don't think it was stupid in that party. any other party, sure, but not there.
Frisbee: I counted 7 frisbees there, looks like 6 skystylers and 1 ultrastar... Too windy and rocky to play, but we did manage to have a short set.
'till next year
