Tried them both, I prefered the Adams. I bought P33-A

Try them and decide for yourself.

yep only way is to listen to them ... but it still not help you to know wich one translate the best , you need them for 1 month a least...so it s not easy but both users of bm6a and p22 are happy it seems ...they have different strengh and weakness, bm6a are more easy to learn , sound more hifish but you dont get things as perfect as with the adam imo but it s subjective, never tryed the mk2 ...

if you make bass heavy music like psy, adam p22a will disappoint you in the bass area. the p33a is another sorty its a really good monitor to work with, so if its in your price range go for the p33a.
if your choice is bm6a or p22a and you make bass heavy music , my advice is to go for the bm6a.

also ready some reviews on gearslutz.com alot of people say that p22a lacks in bass.

if you can ask the shop to give you the monitors for a test then that would be the best way to decide.

The best advice you could get.

if you dont try for yourself you will never know ..
most stores would let you work on that speaker in your house and then decide.

dont forget that just listening would not do any good, you need to work a little and see how your mixes translate outside, thats the reason most stores do that & thats the most important stage when buying monitors ..

the MOST important task of studio monitors is to translate best your mixes outside, and not how they sound to you. home speakers so that.

call any store and ask for a demo version to see if they will fit you. work on a rough mix and then decide.

try them, and only after that you will know if they fit for you or not.

all last month i test them - the BM6a and P22 in my studio, both of them very nice, but form the two i like more the BM6a.
but now im waiting to test the focal twin 6 (and K&H O300???) in my studio,i hope until the end of the month i'll get a fair for demo.....
