Hello there,
i found this tutorial on youtube, and i have been wondering if the software he uses is available in ableton or cubase, or is it FL software? If you know any similar software that is compatible with cubase or ableton, please let me know! Thanks in advance

Thats an audio editing plugin, you can use it even as stand alone,or probably in any DAW that supports VST (besides the Mac ones).
It's called Edison from Image-Line,very cool thingy,I use it all the time.

Well, you can try melodyne for example...
I use waves tune for one.
Why not looking for samples of people talking monotonicaly?
There are tons of ways to do the same thing, you can take some sample of people talking ,streth it in any direction, put really wet reverb on it and play with reverb settings, and that can make something allike..From all the things I lost, that sandwitch cost me most :)

Yes, melodyne is approximately the same thing as newtone. I don't know the details though, haven't used melodyne myself.
