Antix – Free as we are (BLT remix)
This is the tracklist to the first Iboga CDs.
BLT, aka Yuli Fershtat. In Yuli's resume you’ll find 3 full length artist albums and quite a few single tracks released on numerous compilations around the world in the last few years. Yuli DJ's around the globe and has performed a massive Live set together with the drummer Danni Makov for 1 ˝ years now in places like Japan, Brazil and Germany among others. Yuli has previously released a track with Iboga on the ectoplasma compilation from 2002 (Froggy Business), as well as a 4 track EP from his last album called “God is love” from the same year. Now Iboga is proud to announce this 3 track cd single ahead of BLTs upcoming live album together with Danni. As a bonus track on the cd single you will find a BLT remix of the Antix hit “Free as we are”. BLT Already gained a strong reputation as a remixer, and has remixed artists like Ticon, Phony Orphants and Psycraft.

sounds good,
don't know "News" but space boogie remix is quite a romper stopmer tune,
and the remix to Antix is beautiful....

timmy i hope BLT (Yuli) can answer that one for me since he is from israel...offcourse theres also gonna be the possibility to find it on some of the netshops.

All 3 tracks here are amazing, I sure recommend buying this one.
News has one of the most penetrating lines I've heard. Space Boogie remix is flying high and gives a respectful and totally groovy-jazzy interpretation to the original keeping it very boogie!
And the Antix remix is one of the most emotional and beautiful tracks I've heard in a long while.

i think the cd single idea is great. very few artists can actually pull of a sustained "album" and by the time they do, the best tracks have usually been played out by dj's for about a year. vinyls are great for keeping things fresh, but they are economically not feasible, and they are kind of a pain. i have probably 1000 really good progressive house 12" lying around, but i seldom listen to them because it takes me too long to find a track. cd singles offer the best of both worlds. get a hot track while it's still hot, and not be let down by an album that doesn't quite live up to expectations. plus, since there's probably 1 very good track on it, i always buy any cd singles i see.
BTW, the blt antix remix is pure emotional GOLD! |
