Blofeld volume too low

Hi everyone,
I'm currently using a Virus TI as my soundcard (is it good btw ? or should I save for a better soundcard?), on which I've plugged my Blofeld (on the stereo input).
So if I want to use my blofeld, I launch Live ! , set an audio channel as "in" and plaanksy with it, easy as that.
Now the issue is that the volume is very low, even when I boost the volume fader to the max.
Am I doing something wrong ?

I used to have the same issue with my synth...as soon as I changed my soundcard the problem was gone
I have been said that it might be the input of the souncard so you need a preamp to increase the signal.
What I did instead is to put a gain plug in(youy can use the free ones..like sonalktis) in the insert and increase the volume with the fader...you can go high as much as you want because of the headroom of the floating point math

I sold my soundcard as I don't need any inputs, and use my Virus Ti - however it does feed into a Benchmark DAC, so I'm not really using the Virus outputs for sound.
My only problem is, I haven't found a way to record what I'm hearing in Windows, like films, you tube clips.. etc.
That is a bit of a headache. |
