All techies,
Anyway to access blocked sites at work:
Example GMAIL :
Its blocked, even the HTTPS secure login is blocked..
  So drunk i can brarely spell. |

you could try pop from any email client(www.mozilla.com/thunderbird/) to access for ur gmail

Lolz ..
I face the same issue ... Only the plus point with me is I have 2 systems .. One is the production system where the work is done .. And most of the emails and downloads are blocked .. But on the breakfix system I can screw around .. So i do understand ur situation ..
U cant access the firewall from ur end .. I mean its diff to access and change the policies on it ..
For gmail .. I usually go to .. mail.google.com ... and that works for me ..
Try that ... Hope that helps you ..
