I hate Natalie Portman but this one seems good indeed.
Also Kunis is a hottie as usual,i am quiet jealous of Caulkin for dating her.

I don't care much for Portman either, but the movie stands on it's own regardless.
Saw it last night. At first I had a hard time cos my 18 yr old daughter moved to New York to pursue ballet at a prestigious school there (actually same school the dancer who did Portman's dance scenes is from), so it was kind of hitting a little close to home for me. My daughter even looks a bit like Natalie Portman too, so kind of freaky.
Overall, good movie, but I found some of it a little... unclear in parts. Can't talk about it here though without giving things away so I'll refrain.
I was more impressed with his presentation of the dance form. Pretty amazing stuff.
Also heard the director had written this one and the Wrestler at the same time and that there was some relation or something. Anybody know more about that? Find it hard to see any correlation between the two, or how they can be intertwined. Can't imagine how heavy the combo film would be too. Pretty awesome.

i mean with how many father in laws could one actually go surfing or bouldering with, listen to odd music and go to festivals?
