i heard these are more resistent to scratching... hence better for dj's.

i got 2 questions.

1. is that true?
2. are they of equal quality.

thanks in advance.

Ehm.... Zombi, I guess he's dealing with Playstation's like Cds, which doesn't mean burned ones           .

burnt CDs never last as long as the ones that are originally pressed...but these opaque coloured ones do have longer life           ....good fudge comes on slow!!!

I don't see any possible technical reason why these discs should be better for scratching. Sure maybe they reflect a little bit more than regular cd's but i'm not even sure about that.

as for quality, so far not a single cdr brand has lived it to it's stated lifetime expectancy           www.psytracks.com :: Brand new website for sharing your psytracks with the world. Get a free 250Mb Artist profile, Blog and events calender!

Surrender: A while a go a bought black cd's and the quality was the same, about if they are more resistent to scratching, i'll have to say i think they are, because i havent have a single problem with them till now compering to the normals that in a short time there's always problems....

At one of my parties i have hosted an artists who used these, that's why i ask - when i asked him about it he told me it was much more durable as Insomniac says...

the thing is that they dont market it as more durable so it leads me to believe rik is right.

hehe ofcourse zombi is the most incorrect, i am not a racist... in fact, i hate all racist people and blacks.

so whats the verdict? anyone except Insomniac ever use these? the friend who gave them to me claims his computer doesnt even read them...           "On the other hand, you have different fingers."

Uhh, I've used silvers and colored cdr's, they all seem to work about the same. What is more important is the brand name... some are absolute trash, but Verbatim's and Memorex's have worked well for me. However, one brand I tried, K-Hypermedia or some shit, was not so good...

they have a longer life span but they have to be burned at lower speeds and yes they are better for djs I think...of course in the end it all depends on which brand you buy...right now I think the best brand for both CDs and DVDs is Taiyo Yuden           DJ Dovla | Interchill Records, Flow Records
