The BLA are coming out of hiding, ready to rock one of North Americas fattest sound systems.
On Friday December 10th we will transform Boa-Redux into a psychedelic sanctuary of sacred spirals and fractilicious frequencies. The massive Dynacord system , coupled with the acoustics of an old converted theater will make for the sickest psychedelic sound Toronto has ever encountered. In order to give the sound system a proper shaking we are bringing one of the forefathers of trance...

Frank'e is a man who sits high atop the psychedelic pyramid. He has been a mainstay in the psychedelic scene for over 10 years with both the Kox Box and Saiko-Pod projects, playing countless live gigs in all corners of our world. After releasing several singles on Sven Vaths seminal label HartHouse, the Koxbox sound was symbiotically absorbed into the psychedelic culture on labels like BlueRoom, Tip, Dragonfly, etc... Having worked with such artists as Juno Reactor, X-Dream and Eat Static. They have been described as "Probably the most in-yer-face psychedelic outfit ever, these Danish floor fillers Koxbox are not known for pulling any punches." Thank you for making things like this possible in Toronto. After comming back from Europe, I thought it was still going to be super-gay like it used to be, but wow, KoxBox in Toronto again... This calls for celebration.... *ce-le-bration-time-common!* Well after taking down a few with a hoffman cut-out, everything is colourful, I just wish they were here last week for Halloween weekend. To the guys making these psy parties happen, I want to commend you on what you guys are making happen. I had a plan to do this, but I'm always high or way too lazy to make calls and organize something. Excellent! |
