Binary its a new project from Rui Pedro (System_ix) and Peter Steven (3pi).
Rui Pedro,is from Porto (Portugal), he started very soon working with music, he has worked as a rock dj a long time ago and has colaborated with some bands in the electronic scene.. In 1999 started with Fernando Ribeiro (PsyJar) the project System_Id, performing with this project two live acts. After the end of this project, Rui carried on with is solo project System_ix, making is first apearing in the 2003/2004 Crystal Matrix New Year Party, with artists like Talamasca, Parasense e Bushman. After that System_ix performed some live acts for En Sof and others organizations like Quest4goa and others ..
Peter Steven, started is contact with electronic music in 1998 and in 2001 started is project 3pi. His first productions gathered the interest of some labels , like Mechanik Sound Records, Acidance, Digital Psionics, Ketuh Records, and others, but he never released a track. After sometime of reflextion relative to his project, he decided
to create with Rui Pedro, in 2004, the project Binary.
What we can expect from this project its a mix of diferent styles with various psychedelics influences and a very strong sonority.
Soon some tracks of this project will be released by Digital Distortion Records and Quest4goa Records.

best portuguese morning project IMHO! Hope that ppl will give them th credit they deserve!
website nd sample tracks are worth a visit...
Computer games don't affect kids - I mean, if Pacman affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music. :D :D |
