ok. i want to tell you something before album will be released. music recorded on our album is not usual, all of you probably know this fact. of course evryone say that is really good that someone wants to put smoething new to thight form of trance music, wants to involve other styles of music. thats good for the music and for our satisfaction as artists. we know that we choose harder way to reach fame and stable position on the scene. all is fine but one thing is really sad. there are so many promoters in the world organising parties and these promoters mainly invite bands that create usual trance. of course i dont mind but its not really good for us. by saying this i mean we are in minority and most important for us is to create our music that satisfy us, not only for satisfying people on the dancefloor. good thing is that we have our "sound", we have our individual output and we still trying to change this sensless deadway of todays trance. i'm sorry to tell you this but i really think that most of trance music releasing novadays is simply fucking boring and without any idea. we don't want to play simply and fullon music because we want to be invited for playing or realasing music. we want to PLAY OUR UNUSUAL MUSIC and release it and then only for that being invited, that is our point of view. i hope people will preciate unusual bigwigs album! simply we want to make revolution my friends! |

KINO OKO - ye, u absolutely right, maaan, we r monirity (u as producer, me as listener and party animal), your music definetly not usual and reguelar and its absolutely ROCK !!!!
dont worry, there is enough ppl who search for different and most importent for Music, cash already in my hand, release it and care it will come here, i will run and buy this one !!!

And by the way, the smashing "dancefloor" formula by the leading full on artists will not work forever... offcourse, that just my opinion

Your music is what I call experimental trance. Certainly not the usual trance we get to hear.
Unfortunately today in parties, organisers find themselves obiged to invite big names, or "heads" - the most bombarinng names. It's really a shame.
I saw you in Samothraki and I had an excellent time. I enjoyed even more the Tromesa live act.

Big respect tothe Tromesa/Bigwigs projects!!! And also to Kino Oko for the brave words that a lot of people are thinking but not enough dare say them.
You guys make excellent music and your decision to push the limit of music rather that settle for the trance mainstream is what makes an artist special for me! You should know that there are people out there who appreciate artists like that. They may be fewer but they are the ones you want on board! This new CD will sit pretty in my collection next to Pseudomental.
And kudos to Digital Structures for continuing to release groundbreaking music in these difficult times. Between last November and this coming April they will have rewarded us with albums from Tegma, Vibrasphere, Ticon, and Bigwigs. And an Etnoscope album is coming later this year. Quality, quality, quality!!! Somebody's got the best artist pool out there! We also need more compilations ala Digital Emission . Thanks guys!

Seriously, it sucks that this album probably won't be released until mid-May. DS still hasn't released the Ticon CD. :-/. Oh well, at least we can be sure it's going to be worth the wait!

Kino Oko way in the long run is the only way, when something becomes a formula it will die, even Britney Spears kind of formula- music that lasts is music that innovates- trance used to be like that, which is unusual today for dance music- it has almost ceased to be taht- and the outcome is out there- only look around you...
