most long trip in hours was tel aviv - athens 2.5 hours flight then 17 hours train to port city then 3 hours boat and 30 min bus.. it was long way samothraki.  Believe your soul ! |

1. Plane from Tel Aviv to Istanbul. Train from Istanbul to Budapesht via Bulgaria and Romania. and back. Solipse 99.
2. Plane from Tel Aviv to Zambia via Adis Abeba (Ethiopia) and back. Solipse 01.
3. plane from Tel Aviv to Phoenix Arizona, Car from Phoenix to Black rock city via LA, San Diego San Francisco and Reno. and back (via SF and NY). Burningman 2003
and some awsome train rides in india, not for parties.

haha also me and my friend took a taxi from bankok to phuket man its 900km!! but it was cheep  and took a boat from there to Phi phi island and partyed 
i think i will never go 900km with a taxi again in my hole life.. |

My friends and I went from Oslo to Trondheim and back - 1080 km - within 24 hours, to see Hardfloor playing live... In the wintertime...

if you can count this as a trip:
me and my friends sit in a bus in new delhi
travel 13 hours (app 380km) in a dilapidated , creaky smelly bus to manali.
caught a bus in manali to jari (midway to kasol) say two hours
taxi from jari to malana dam . say another hour
from the dam we start climbing 
13 km of jagged , rocky , steep , climb to the top of the mountain. 
i am the first to reach and sit with baba to smoke a nice italian (super cream) chillum.
and then i travelled

1. from hamburg to bochum by train 7hours instead of 3 because of the very hard german winter.
2. in bochum playing a 3hours dj-set.....
3. from bochum to franfurt by train 2hours
4. from frankfurt to bankok by plain 11hours
5. from bankok to sura thani by bus 10hours
6. from sura thani to ranong by mini-bus 4hours
7. from ranong to a very small island by boat 2hours
puh was a very long trip..........

From Copenhagen to Zürich = 5 hours delayed due to bad weather.
waiting 7 hours in Zürich due to bad weather
To Japan from Zürich = 14 hours (no sleep on the flight because of too many nice movies haha)
crusing Tokyo with Jetlag = 8 hours...
Puking from lack of sleep = 0.5 hour
finally to bed |

by far the longest trip.
got into this car following three others every one said party was just around the corner.
several of us squashed in the back seat...
at every turn we thought it was it.
rode 6 and a half long painful hours.
looked bright at each and every turn
ha ha ha
finally missed the venue and went far ahead to drive back
ha ha ha
one of the best party ever went to.
streched our limits the sec we got out of the taut hole

26 hours each way, non stop driving from upstate new york to miami for the winter music conference.
lots of joints, ritalin and beats. worth every second of the drive. |

Train to the airport
Flight from copenhagen to athens
airport bus to bus terminal in athens
waithing 12 hours for the bus (no sleep yet due to creppy taxidrivers)
9 hours of driving to the ferry
then ferry to the samothraki island
allthoug to find out that there actually was a train from athens to alexsanderpolis (allthoug the tourist info lady told us that there wasent such a cunt)
but it was worth it

Hey I love this topic!
Man the guy who drove away from outback eclipse fest is crazy. That was the best festival ever!
My biggest trip is to Trancendence 2003 in Alto Paraiso, Brazil travelling solo from my home in Melbourne.
1. Car to airport in Melbourne, Australia (1hour)
2. Fly to Sydney (1hour)
3. Fly to Auckland, New Zealand(4 hours)
4. Fly to Santiago in Chile (15? hours)
5. Fly to Rio, Brazil (5? hours) - I speak no Spanish or Portuguese.
6. Fly to Brasilia, Brazil (3?hours)
7. Somehow explain to taxi driver I want to find the bus station to get a bus to Alto Paraiso (2 hours)
7. Get on bus to Alto Paraiso (4?hours)
8. Arrive and get on bus full of crazy, laughing Brazilians smoking huge joints and on to Trancendence 2003 (1 hour)
I took me three days including time in transit.
Total: 34 hours travel, 26 hours in transit, six hours sleep.
What a festival! I don't think I even believed I would make it until I was on the dance floor.
