There was a thread on this before and I also remember something about Hungary had the biggest festival, but unfortunately I can't remember the name of the festival.
I think it was 2-3 years ago.

Energy: Solipse 99 in Hungary didn't have 40,000.
the wildest estimates were at 30,000 peeps.
Sifter: Burning Man isn't a trance festival and it isn't that large, this year there were 30,719 people there.
Maze: the name was Solipse 99, DJ's from all over the wide trance scene. big names such as Total Eclipse, X-Dream, SUN Project, Tsuyoshi, Mark Allen + Quirk, DJ Anti, Infected Mushroom, Yaniv and alot of germans (oh yea I played there as well...)
Kinetic Honda GmbH, Worldwide Supliers of Quality noise.
