"Faxi: I am from Israel, and have been making music for about ten years now. I have been into electronic music since getting hooked on 8-bit Nintendo games as a kid then when I first heard psytrance tracks my mind went bonkers and I instantly fell in love with it. I started collecting tunes, then later experimenting with DJ stuff and from there started making tunes. Out of that grew the Faxi Nadu and Elmooht projects. Faxi Nadu is my psytrance act and Elmooht deals in experimental, soundscape, ambient and drone music. There is also the net label I run called 'Postunder Records' that has been quiet the past few years up until my latest release.
Dante: How do you use Scope live and where did you travel to with the Scope cards?
Faxi: Well, I have only used them live for the Elmooht project, twice in my country and one time in Germany in 2005. If I would get more Elmooht bookings, I might try that again. It was wild though, taking two cards to another country and basically praying that they will work with the PC they provided for me. I had a very nice set-up where I was running Modular patches, effects, routing, MIDI and synths. Pretty much maxing out DSP on Scope Pro and Luna. Everything worked perfectly and I was so proud of SFP. I think today with an XITE-1, it would be possible to do this and so much more and not lose sleep worrying if your rig won't work at the venue."
