here's an old track of mine, when i tought everything was pink or purple =P
now, embedded in youtube, it gives me that nostalgic "ah, those were the days" look on my face...

lol funny stuff

some of the melodies sound like they don't sit so good together, but in general cool track!!!! i like how it opens up at around 1:40.

sound is a bit dull, would enjoy it much brighter.

interesting style, a bit confused with the ideas but interesting.

hehe, yes =)
unfortunately, i lost the project, along with many others, when my hdd crashed so i can't mix it, and than i didn't know most of the stuff i know now. but it's funny tho, when you stumble upon your early works and than compare it to how it turned out till today..
btw, thanks for listening =D

sometimes early works are fun to listen to because they are full of fresh experimental ideas without yet knowing "too much" and locking ourselves in production patterns.

I back you up on this 100%!

Sometimes the best thing that can happen is to loose your entire music production data and to have a fresh start, but I have always found it to be very rewarding to go back and listen to the early stuff again!
At starting time we didn't know much about music production, and we are struggling to make something sound good - becoming more experimental and without rules. Nowadays it's too easy to fall into routines or deep sound engineering processes, often over-engineering the track.

BUT, when hearing my old tracks I always hear a bunch of details to tweak, many disasterous errors and have an injection of fresh ideas. Most of the times the old track just needs a couple of simple tweaks to make it fresh again or to make it glue together.. Too bad the project is lost

Nice tune you've got there, lost of great ideas!

Final conclusion: Backup, backup, backup!
