On the other side of the spectrum you have slow songs that are really fullon.

look at the new Twisted System album, theres a couple of slower ones.

Stark raver is about 143. But you wouldnt know from the dancefloor.

I usually do stuff between 128-134.
Nowdays I've been working on a 142 trance track and all I am going to say is that there is much more space to enjoy sounds at 132BPM where the tempo is fast enough to dance to...and there is room for bass!           Me>You

I work on 130-145. 145 is fast enough, no need for me to jump higher. Have you ever tried to dance to a 154BPM track? I think only ennergizer rabbits can do that.
Favorite is 140, you can write both full on or progressive or techtrance or whatever you want on it.

recently i've learnt that 145 is a nice bmp count

using it my bass sure does sound better (16th bass at 4/4 sig)

148 is still usable, but as 14 year old e-tard not much room for bass. mostly speeds beyond that.

off course it's all a matter of taste, and trying to make the bass sound nice at fast tempos might be an interesting proposal for me

about being able to dance to x speed, i think it's all a matter of where he accents are

dnb and hardcore fans "dance" at 180bmps and upper...

spams are the xxi century dancing trend           roll a joint or STFU :)

True .. Cant say it better !

Also makes the all thing more interesting ..
why to stay always on the same 1 , I think
changes 139 - 160 (In my works) Or what
ever u choose is more then welcome and
blessed for the producer him self and also

if its too fast to dance, make a step every second beat!

on the other hand, ive recently heard a compilation on DejaVu Records, i think its Kill Fucking Bill, with furious tracks, very violent, 148 and up... its good, but for those PEAK moments in a night...
not for average bedroom listening...

speaking of conga fury, its funny how superb this track is, but on a dancefloor everybody goes for a bottle of water. Maybe its too fast?

True Man .. This is the point .. ! Not every
secound beat but Sure .. More breaks
will do the work for sure and give the right
boost and push for all the rets of this track

i have done a few 155 bpm tracks, its all about the bass noye placement as far as i am concerned ..the tracks dont sound 155 , mor elike 150 , but thats due to the bass structure, its good fun tho....
