Hey all,
Have been automating my filters through LFO's, envelopes and by hand for a while now. But am looking for finer control - for example if I would want to have certain notes playing with the filter completely open, and the rest with the filter near closed. Doing automation the way I have been doing so far is just gonna be a huge painful process
Anyone know of a tool that could do this for me ? Im thinking along the lines of a midigater, just a midi"cutoffer" instead
How do you guys get fine control over your filters ?
thanks |

most synths allow u to adjust filter/res via keytrack or velocitytrack!!
or simply use a modulation matrix to achieve what u want! |

If u use fruity and ur synth u can use a keyboard controller plugin to controll any parameter with the midi notes and the velocity.
But most synth have a built in option to link velocity and cutoff.

the brightness in the velocity lane is the cutoff. you can automate different things with this lane just try it |
