I wanna say that Kontakt might be able to do that. I am not sure however...

Perhaps if you used a sampler that has a key range where whenever you enter a midi note, plays the sample at a pitch that it's assigned to. I.E. if you used the exs 24 and the main key of the sample was c2, you could set up a pitch range where each midi note like c0-c6 would play the cooresponding pitch for it. Battery 2 and exs 24 can both do that, the issue that you run into is that if you are expecting the sampler to play the sample in it's entirety, you will have to make sure that the midi note is long enough to do so...

I think that'll do it for ya...           An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

Well , I saw other ways on top, but I see two cases :
Vocals and melodys:
Vocals can use timestrech, voice mx studio or in both cases open Live as rewire in two audio tracks in the arrange of logic and listen sync the same bpm to arrange the "piece" in the song.

I dont like my voice, for example, so I use a microkorg vocoder to sing the wordss in the right tone (notes).

Peace for us, hope it helps.

i know what you are talking about and the answer is:

1 - select the audio event from the project window
2 - go to the audio menu -> process -> pitch shift
3 - select the 'envelope' tag

all you want to do is on that window, now to learn how to use it go to: 'help -> html help' and search for "pitch shift", you won't find any problem to learn it, its easy

i hope it will help you...

oh, i forgot to say, i use cubase sx 2.2 so i dunno if sx 3 works as it
