three oscilators is better than two although one is often enough.amp & filter envelope and maybe a modulation envelope is nice.The bigger the modulation matrix the better the synth.At least 2 lfo's.Each synth that has this offerings is useful for psytrance.

I fell in love with Diversion almost instantly, its super easy to get good sounds from, has nice unique features, runs solid, its interface is so clean, its like... Automap for your eyeballs 
While I do like how clean z3ta+2 sounds, I just haven't really heard anything that stuck out as all that great.
Same for Hamburg's Nuklear, it sounds neat, pulsar synthesis or whatever, but nothing stood out as exceptional.
