and you can use them for everything .
My advice for you dont catalog them : "this for bass or this for kik or lead or hh" . To write in here TRANCE/TECHNO - Vanguard , Its abit Unserious , Unprofession and even funny . One Vst for the all style , Well .. Maybe you are genius . Im using 20 -30 Vsts and many effects in a 1 TRANCE/TECHNO track . Only Vanguard ? That is an real and new somthing i should learn .

imo nexus sucks.... tried and have to say sound is good, but no wonder as it is a sample based synth.
anyway, totally agree in not categorizing these machines, cause with a good one u can achieve everything you´re dreaming of. on the other side there are synths out there really only developed for maybe bass/leads and sure there are heaps of tons of doin everything.
so i agree that any sound can be synthesized with most of the common synthesizers.
for what to use i prefer zebra, surge, vanguard, albino, bazzism, tassman, fm8, modular g2 demo, audio hijack and fx i use everything from dsp guru himself urs heckman, loving the flux plugins, aether reverb, timeless, and many more.
imo its pretty unnecessary to use 20-30 different synths in a track whatever style..... vanguard also possible doin track only with it, but if i had the choice i would do one with only surge or only zebra. no problem with these, u can do 100% stunning track only using one of them .... no problem. that´s nothing to do with being a genius
i rather think about if necessary havin that much processing or fx on my 30 different synths in one (techno!!!?¿?) song?¿
i never use that many synths in tracks, maybe one should try that. i use to get my resaults with 3-5 synths on maybe 30 channels absolutely maximum. anyway i heared about people using more than 100 channels for their tracks, so think this has nothin to say at all. but one should be careful sayin this or that is not possible.
it´s music, anything u can dream of is possible

ive been using my virus ti for just about everything no other plug hasnt even been getting a look in although i still love albino
