why have you been looking for bookings at gay bars n shit if they are below you? IE not "quality outlets" what is a quality outlet to you? somewhere that can or would houze infected mushroom? i dont quite get it yet. 
if you want gigs throw a party and book yourself. that seems to be the most effective way.
or
just be patient keep making music and sending out demos to people that you know throw the kind of events that are acceptable to you. then offer to drive yourself to THEM and spend all your money and not get paid. then do it again untill you are touring with infected
there are plenty of ways.. maybe i dont quite get what assistance you are asking for? are you looking for venues or bookings? what is wrong with the places around you? i know ive seen plenty of electronic music nights advertised for the nashville area in the past. are you looking specifically for a psychedelic trance party in nashville? or a big niteclub that can get you the kind of audience you feel you deserve?
also the "Hottest places to perform" Texas.
please clarify and maybe we can be of better help.

the valarium (in knoxville, tn) where infected mushroom performed their KoRN/dream theatre inspired act this spring is quite a hot place to perform, the AC sucks in there.  that's where shpongle plays too, incidentally. glitch mob, bassnectar, rusko, ghostland, dj icey, baby anne bla bla bla you know the drill....
loopd is organizing some crap at a gay dive bar in knoxville in a couple weeks, they have an awesome little outdoor area with a stage, picnic tables, lots of trees outdoor day/indoor night party! way more fun than trying to get involved in those commercial parties.

Isn't that infecteds target market, btw? THey play at spots in atlanta that are called "Halo" and "Fever" lol..sounds pretty gay to me...and by gay i'm not sure what i mean because i have tons of gay friends that would never set foot in an Infected Mushroom audience er club..

Hey man- I get the feeling you're fairly new to the scene and looking to obtain some bookings. Just a word of warning, if you bring up Infected on isratrance you better be prepared to get flamed pretty hardcore haha
I'd suggest attending as many events as possible with an assload of demo cds. hand them to every promoter and partygoer you can. be persistent. I mean crikey, I've been sending touch samadhi mixes for 6 years now and they're just now booking me for equinox haha
