People use different things, and i hear good results with varous combinations. I mainly use PSP MatesterQ or Sonalksis EQ, then Vintage Warmer multiband compression, tweak to suit track, and then l3 only limit a peaks. Sometimes i also use some powercore plugins like the 247c amp or SatEQ.
Think knowing what to do with what you have is better than having everything and not knowing what to do with it. |

leave the master to the pros
else use TC Powercore master x3 or x5
the only thing you need for selv promotion or to the dj set is a limiter imo.
make a good mix... the mastering dosent do that for you

if you're going for a NEVE or SSL to do a mastering of a track the console already haves eq section, compressor, limiter, expander and everything u need to do the best mastering. This is the real best out there for mastering.. ahh Dont forget to buy the control room as well and some fancy mastering monitors expensive for shure ( nothing compared with the console)
