Best synth for nice melodies

Hi everyone, i'm thinking to buy a synth, what do you think is the best of access virus for melodies, Indigo 2 or TI Polar?

Ive got a TI(desktop) and i reckon it rocks for melodies
at the same time, countless other synths and vsts also rock for melodies 
hope this helps, im sure it doesnt..hehe

happy melodies depend more on your choice of notes than your choice of synth
any virus will be able to create happy molodies and not so happy attacks of noise and distortion 
 roll a joint or STFU :) |

are you looking for arpeggiated melody lines? or just a synth you can use to play melodies you came up with?
if you want one that will play yours, then any will do, their ability is only limited by your programming skills.
Look for a synth with an apreggiator built in, it can ad another level to the melodies you put through it.

Or you can make your own arpeggios..
i think im going to play around with some arpeggios tonight...
this gave me some inspiration, hehe still very simple one

sometimes i love to play with arpeggiator on a virus ti, but i miss stepseq like my an1x has :/ yeah, hold and tweak and its morning again
but to the topic - indigo 2 and ti are similar machines if the melo lines sounds is what you seek for or even arps. very nice for melo layers for me is also albino - very cpu friendly, many subtractive VAs can produce these sounds |
