with such budget you should go with custom acoustics and room treatment.

Yeah, spend about 10% of that on your room and monitors, and than just gt some essential stuff.
If you go out and buy a whole new studio, it'll be very overwhelming because you won't know your gear. Get some major upgrades, and get to know them. As you progress, buy what you need.

Buying lots of stuff at once is a common producer error, as he ends up buying stuff he doesn't really need.

If you already have a studio with some gear, think about upgrades: what can't you do with your gear, what can complement your gear. You don't need to spend megabucks to get a great sounding tune, and it won't be the dollars making your tune sounding great.

Also, go to the music store and check stuff out.           Super Banana Sauce http://www.soundcloud.com/knocz

It depends on what you want to focus on in terms of audio. Certainly would be nice to spend it on fun gear. Can you tell us what it is, you want to do with it?

Also, buying lots of gear at once generally means discounts!!! Meaning if you can buy it all at once, you might get even more bang for your lots of bucks!!

what you gonna do in the studio? mastering/mixing/recording...

for acoutics i would hire a real pro but i think the room need good potential too,if it s small it s not ideal .

depend if you want somethign really high end, just by gessing with 7000/10 000 euros on acoutics you can do something really really good i think , then you can even mix on low end monitors in that room lol you will have great production ..joking but it s not far from true.

monitors is personal choice but i would spend around 3000/5000 , kh 0300 + sub maybe..(for mixing monitors)

audio interface check prism orpheus or metric halo if you are on mac.. but it depend your configuration, those are firewire, if you don t need the interface to be portable, you better go with standalone ad/da converters like lavry blue + digital card (depends your need with the number of i/o )

monitors:
Focal Solo6 Be - 1400$ each
Event Opal - 1500$ each
ATC Monitors,Quested monitors,PMC monitors are popular in studios.

Monitor Woofer 6'' or more. Depends on your room size. Front or back ported depends if you can place close to the wall. You can get more expensive like 10,000 per monitor ,but that's overboard for me.
Demo few different ones to see decide what you like prior purchase.

Great audio interface + great monitors + great acoustics tratment = great sound.

If you buy expensive audio interface such as UAD apollo (2,000$),Prism sound Orpheus ($4,400),RME Fireface UFX (2,300$) or Apogee Ensemble(2,000$) those have pretty good converters build in.Most pros do also use additional AD/DA converters with audio interface for sound.
