If you can stretch your budget to 900 Euro, get a LYNX Studio L22.

I DONT ADVICE TO BUY HAMMERFALL INTERNAL SOUNDCARDS. they are too good so they even capture your internal cpu noise.. so the solutions is external soundcard. hammerfall is killer obne but maby too expencive 4 your budgget.
try M-audio
new m-box 2 out now but dont know the price..

I have two RME´s one Hammerfall 9652 and a new HDSP 9652 and none has made anything like "internal" noises ...In fact i didnt had any problems with any of them yet and i have the hammerfall for 4 years now !!

The only problem i had was sometime ago when the ADAT board from the mixer started making some stupid clicks... i think it was from the Config panel and ADAT sync but it passed away as it showed up .... mistery

yer, i have the same problem with my "echo-mia" but i dont think the soundcards are liable for this...becuase as far as i know it is the motherboard creating the problem.
