If all you need is a stereo i/o, a midi i/o and a digital i/o go grab a Midiman Audiophile 2496. Excelent value, high fidelity sound and low latency ASIO drivers. You cant go wrong with midiman.           --------------------------------------------

he just needs a digital i/o - that's it! no midi and no analog.

Now - I don't remember seeing such a card anyway - at least - it comes s/pdif + analog.

sorry dude.           Crackling universes dive into their own neverending crackle...

Reeeaaallly ???

SPDIF = Sony.Phillips.Digital.Interface.
TDIF = Tascam.Digital.Interface.
EBU = European.Broadcast.Standard.
Creative Audigy =

Correct me if i wrong about AES/EBU .
Belive me that i can't look at Creative SoundCards
as a SoundCards for music production .
I'm 100% shure about that .
For now i'll keep working with audio
in hardware-only environment ,
if one good day i'll get some money for a serious
soundcard , i think about buying PrismSound
ADA converter or maybe RME AD96Pro .

Once and for all, what's so bad with Creative sound cards?
Is it something personal?           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

Omni Studio is a great way to spend 1,500 nis
on a prefectly usless thing...
Why spending so much money on a pre amplified break-out-box.

I work with Delta66 on P4 2000Mhz
with 512 DDR (333Mhz).
In my opinion the Delta66 is great, I found it
very easy and high qulity card,
I dont think I could have spend 2,000 nis in
a better way...

Maybe it is , because personally
i don't like Creative Scards so much .
But anyway for $12 i can't get a better
soundcard than SB128 .

for 12$ all you get is MIDI port.
And as i know you, that's all you need.
No big difference if it's MIDI port made by creative, creamware or Space Ninja's vintage MIDI interfaces           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

I own usual lame $12 sound card. (its not creative even)

check what i produce with it..

http://www.mp3.com/whoracle

first 4 tracks were done in reason and processed through pro-tools on my sound card. No hardware used

when u know what exactly u r doing and what results you wish to get in the end - cheap card will work too

best wishes

It's already known to all the the artist makes
the music and not the equimpent, but it's not
the same thing...

Once, I worked with Creative Live!, that was
lame, no quality at all...
I got Delta66, Different sound, cleaner, better....

Before I got my MC-505, it was just internet
samples and loops!
Now it's Audio interface and sream audio
recording (with a little help from my mixer)!!!

P.s

Anyone selling Equilizer rack???
