i really cant believe that all of u forgot COSMOSIS..... that guy has a veery nice production level....... very clear sound......

In my opinion X-Dream/Delta are one of the best producers at the moment, they're always ahead in their time and their prodution level is on the edge.

I totally agree about the sheer complexity of Simon's sound work. No one comes closer.
But Saiko-Kox-Pod-Box sounds humm, so crisp...so clear...not as complex, but soundwise it is definitly clearer imo, those frequencies just bounce so tightly it's kinda freakish.

Saiko pod's recent album was recorded on Pro Tools, this might explain the ultra crisp sound 
And when i'm saying Pro Tools i'm talking about all the system.

maybe its not such trance..
but i think the sound of future sound of london and front line assembly sound is realy wicked!

i cant beleive everyone is saying one is better than the other !!
ever heard of the saying "horses for courses" ???
this is exactly that !! its only an opinion in ones personal taste !!
trance is very diverse and i dont think artists should be compared.

The difference in quality between f.s.o.l and
Front Line Assembly it's like between EmannuelTop and Front242 .

For me, best productions are:
Logic Bomb
Infected Mushroom
Astrix
I also have gotten very surprised with the Live PAs from Zorba and Bamboo Forest.
In terms of effects and craziness, no one beats GMS

You are all forgetting the great sound production of the french masters, Dado & Three Point Turn/Authentik (Phantom Productions..)
And of course the Mushrooms have one of the most special sound in trance scene.
