IMO best producers are Infected Mushroom & Psysex...
you can hear the great control that they have on their equipment, and the results are awesome music (Psysex are the kings...Infected are less favorites)
what do you think about that subject?

you folks gotta be kidding me, no one beats the masters Kox Box/Saiko-Pod.
Simon should be number two there imo.
what these guys forgot most ppl you mentioned didn't even learn.

it´s a hard thread to answer objectively cuz people invariably list some of their favourite bands
as being well produced... what are we talking about here guys and gals?? is it good productiion musically or sound quality wise?

monno's right. this subject is too ambiguos. for production though: simon 'tha guvnor' posford, erez eizen, logic bomb, and without a doubt x-dream. they revolutionized the basslines of trance. gms also should be mentioned for the sheer volume of high quality tracks they can produce in a single bound!

With all due respect to koxbox's top notch sound work - posford makes sounds that are more intricate and accurate than anyone else, by far. His entire way of thought when it comes to sound is (like it always has been) years ahead of it's time.

i prefer crystal production ala atmos or alegria or 12 moons.. i like feel the groove (major difference between hear the groove and feel the groove is a production)..

but here is a realy question with no answer..
once i came to party for hear synthe lines drive me crazy, today trance much closer to techno and personaly me come to party feel the bass kick.. so today interesting bass line make me happy much more than some sample (that all are free on net)..
