IMO...
Are You Shpongled? is by far the best
Tales of the Inexpressible & Ineffable Mysteries are tied for second.
Nothing Lasts is my least favorite.

even though i like the 5th release but the 1st is light yrs ahead of everything else

imo the best work of Simon Posford ever or with him ,and the first real psy ambient album ever was Celtic Cross.. I read once that it was already years old when it was released ,that is incredible.I bought it 95 or 96 it is still thousand times better than the most new stuff imho.

I like them all,
They all had different influences for/to me.
The latest two albums,
I still have to listen to those more detailed.
Knowing that 'Are you Shpongled' released in 1998,
I would go for that one!

Are You Shpongled is the best for me, quickly followed by Tales.... both great albums with a different sound. Never really liked no.3 but enjoyed the remix album. The new one is pretty terrible and cheesy imo |

I think 1, 2 and 3 are equally good with different vibes for different times. Number 4 I am ambivalent about, and nr. 5 I had to stop listening to in fear of getting diabetes...
